Transgression

TRANSGRESSION

TRANSGRESSION is Rebellion.  It has a willful aspect. It is a passing beyond the bounds of the law. What law? The Torah, 10 Commandments, all of Yahweh God's instructions, laws, statutes, ordinances, judgments, commands, Will, Word, and Way.

In the Old Testament:

Transgression is used as a verb and as a noun.

Transgression in verb form is acting treacherously, deceitfully, faithlessly, unfaithfully, to commit, to offend.

Transgression in noun form is being unfaithful, treacherous, deceitful, unfaithful. A rebel, transgressor, sinner, offender, revolter, guilty.

Transgression is also a sin against an individual and a nation and Yahweh God!

In the New Testament:

Transgression is used in verb, noun and adjective form.

Illegality, lawlessness, wickedness, unrighteousness, turning aside from, departing from, going contrary to, neglecting, violating and departing from the law. Destitute of the Mosaic law, disregarding and breaching the Mosaic law. Transgression is the condition of 'without law'.

Transgression is a willful passing beyond the bounds of the law. Transgression is REBELLION against Yahweh God.

1Corinthians 16:22  If any man love not the Prince Jesus Christ, let him be Anathema Maranatha.

Anathema is a Greek word meaning 'accursed', excommunicated. A man accursed, devoted to the direst of woes. A thing devoted to God without hope of being redeemed, and if an animal, to be slain; therefore a person or thing doomed to destruction.

Maranatha is a Hebrew word meaning 'the approaching judgment'. The return of our Prince.

It can mean 'until He cometh'.

Marah means 'to rebel', be disobedient. Natha means 'tear out, overthrow'.

Anathema Maranatha- He must be accursed, a rebel (or he who is a rebel), to be destroyed.

Deuteronomy 8:2  And thou shalt remember all The Way which Yahweh thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness (this mortal life), to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep His commandments, or no.

Psalm 14:2  Yahweh looked down from the sky upon the children of Adam, to see if there were any that did understand, and seek God.

Luke 11:23  He that is not with Me is against Me: and he that gathereth not with Me scattereth.

John 14:15  If ye love Me, keep My commandments.

2Thessalonians 2:12  That they all might be damned who believed not in the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Let's observe the Old Testament verses.

Laban was a pagan Israelite. When Jacob had enough of Laban's ways, he gathered his family and left to go to Isaac his father in Canaan. Rachel had taken the idols that were her father's, which Jacob knew not what she had done.

Genesis 31:36  And Jacob was wroth, and chode with Laban: and Jacob answered and said to Laban, What is my trespass (H6588- injustice)? what is my sin (offence), that you hast so hotly pursued after me?

Genesis 50:14  And Joseph returned into Egypt, he, and his brethren, and all that went up with him to bury his father, after he had buried his father.

50:15  And when Joseph's brethren saw that their father was dead, they said, Joseph will peradventure hate us, and will certainly requite (repay) us all the evil which we did unto him.

50:16  And they sent a messenger unto Joseph, saying, Your father did command before he died, saying,

50:17  So shall ye say unto Joseph, Forgive, I pray you now, the trespass (H6588- injustice) of your brethren, and their sin; for they did unto you evil: and now, we pray you, forgive the trespass (H6588- injustice) of the servants of the God of your father. And Joseph wept when they spake unto him.

The brothers ask for forgiveness.

We can see in both accounts in Genesis that the trespass committed was against individuals. An injustice towards Jacob by Laban, and towards Joseph by his brothers.

Exodus 21:7  And if a man sell his daughter to be a maidservant, she shall not go out as the menservants do.

21:8  If she please not her master, who hath betrothed her to himself, then shall he let her be redeemed: to sell her unto a strange nation he shall have no power, seeing he hath dealt deceitfully (H898- treacherously) with her.

Strange here is nokriy. A non Israelite nation, another race. You could not put an Israelite woman into a non Israelite household.

The Septuagint has: “...because he has trifled her”.

He went beyond the bounds of the law.

Chapter 22 are laws about property and personal actions.

Exodus 22:9  For all manner of trespass (H6588- injury, injustice, transgression), whether it be for ox, for ass, for sheep, for raiment, or for any manner of lost thing, which another challengeth to be his, the cause (matter) of both parties shall come before the judges; and whom the judges shall condemn, he shall pay double unto his neighbour.

Transgression against individuals. Going beyond the bounds of the law.

Exodus 23:20  Behold, I send an Angel (Messenger) before you, to keep you in the way, and to bring you into the place which I have prepared.

23:21  Beware of him, and obey his voice, provoke him not; for he will not pardon your transgressions (H6588- rebellion, revolt, trespass, sin): for My name is in him.

Deuteronomy 18:19  And it shall come to pass, that whosoever will not hearken unto My words which he shall speak in My name, I will require it of him.

23:22  But if you shalt indeed obey his voice, and do all that I speak; then I will be an enemy unto your enemies, and an adversary unto your adversaries.

23:23  For Mine Angel (Messenger) shall go before you, and bring you in unto the Amorites, and the Hittites, and the Perizzites, and the Canaanites, the Hivites, and the Jebusites: and I will cut them off (destroy them).

If you walk in The Way and obey the voice of Yahweh's messengers, and NOT rebel, then Yahweh will be an enemy unto your enemies.

Exodus 34:7  Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression (H6588- rebellion, revolt, trespass, guilt) and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty; visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation.

It takes up to four generations to purge out old pagan habits and conform to Yahweh's Way. That is why the first generation that came out of Egypt were slain in the wilderness.

Leviticus 5:15  If a soul commit a trespass (H4604- sin against God), and sin (misses the mark) through ignorance, in the holy things of Yahweh; then he shall bring for his trespass (H817- guilt, offence) unto Yahweh a ram without blemish out of the flocks, with your estimation by shekels of silver, after the shekel of the sanctuary, for a trespass offering (H817- guilt offering):

5:16  And he shall make amends for the harm that he hath done in the holy thing, and shall add the fifth part thereto, and give it unto the priest: and the priest shall make an atonement (propitiation) for him with the ram of the trespass offering (H817- guilt offering), and it shall be forgiven him.

Even the ignorant are held accountable. Rebellion and passing beyond the bounds of the law even in ignorance are an offence to Yahweh, and therefore are guilty.

Leviticus 6:2  If a soul sin, and commit a trespass (H4604- treacherous act, willfully) against Yahweh, and lie unto his neighbour in that which was delivered him to keep, or in fellowship, or in a thing taken away by violence, or hath deceived his neighbour;

Acts 5:1-4

1  But a certain man named Ananias, with Sapphira his wife, sold a possession,

2  And kept back part of the price, his wife also being privy to it, and brought a certain part, and laid it at the apostles' feet.

3  But Peter said, Ananias, why hath Satan filled thine heart to lie to the Holy Spirit, and to keep back part of the price of the land?

4  Whiles it remained, was it not thine own? and after it was sold, was it not in thine own power? why hast thou conceived this thing in thine heart? thou hast not lied unto men, but unto God.

6:3  Or have found that which was lost, and lieth concerning it, and sweareth falsely; in any of all these that a man doeth, sinning therein:

Deuteronomy 22:1-3

1  Thou shalt not see thy brother's ox or his sheep go astray, and hide thyself from them: thou shalt in any case bring them again unto thy brother.

2  And if thy brother be not nigh unto thee, or if thou know him not, then thou shalt bring it unto thine own house, and it shall be with thee until thy brother seek after it, and thou shalt restore it to him again.

3  In like manner shalt thou do with his ass; and so shalt thou do with his raiment; and with all lost thing of thy brother's, which he hath lost, and thou hast found, shalt thou do likewise: thou mayest not hide thyself.

6:4  Then it shall be, because he hath sinned, and is guilty, that he shall restore that which he took violently away, or the thing which he hath deceitfully gotten, or that which was delivered him to keep, or the lost thing which he found,

6:5  Or all that about which he hath sworn falsely; he shall even restore it in the principal, and shall add the fifth part more thereto, and give it unto him to whom it appertaineth, in the day of his trespass offering (H819- bringing a guilt offering).

Willfully sinning against your kinsmen is the same as willfully sinning against Yahweh.

Chapter 16 is the Day of Atonement

Leviticus 16:16  And he (Aaron) shall make an atonement (propitiation) for the holy place, because of the uncleanness of the children of Israel, and because of their transgressions (H6588- rebellion, guilt, injustice, trespass) in all their sins: and so shall he do for the tabernacle of the congregation (tent of meeting), that remaineth among them in the midst of their uncleanness.

16:21  And Aaron shall lay both his hands upon the head of the live goat, and confess over him all the iniquities of the children of Israel, and all their transgressions (H6588- rebellion, revolt, trespass, guilt, injustice) in all their sins, putting them upon the head of the goat, and shall send him away by the hand of a fit man into the wilderness:

Chapter 16 was fulfilled by Yahshua.

We celebrate the day of atonement by fasting and honoring Yahweh.

Scapegoat is a “church” term. Azazel, H5799 is the goat of departure or removal.

Atonement was not the proper term for what occurred on the Holy Day. It was a covering over of  sin until the next year. Propitiation is the accurate term used in translation. Azazel is used as a proper name in the older texts. The demon to whom all the yearly sin was sent, symbolically, when the priest laid his hands on the goat that was to be the 'goat of release'.

All the blood that was shed for the remission of sins and purifying the priests, altar and tent of meeting is no longer needed.

The priesthood and it's ordinances expired. We now offer spiritual sacrifices. That means walking in The Way, obedience and allegiance, loving our brethren, and of course, loving Yahweh. Not rebelling, sinning willfully, or passing beyond the bounds of the law against our kinsmen and our God.

Leviticus 26:40  If they shall confess their iniquity, and the iniquity of their fathers, with their trespass (H4604- unfaithful and treacherous acts) which they trespassed (H4603- committed willfully) against Me, and that also they have walked contrary unto Me;

26:41  And that I also have walked contrary unto them, and have brought them into the land of their (hated) enemies; if then their uncircumcised hearts be humbled, and they then accept of the punishment of their iniquity:

Acts 7:51  Ye stiffnecked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, ye do always resist the Holy Spirit: as your fathers did, so do ye.

26:42  Then will I remember My covenant with Jacob, and also My covenant with Isaac, and also My covenant with Abraham will I remember; and I will remember the land.

Chapter 26 is all about the blessings of obedience and allegiance, and the curses of rebellion and willfully passing the bounds of the law.

Numbers 5:6  Speak unto the children of Israel, When a man or woman shall commit any sin that men commit, to do a trespass (H4604- treachery, neglect the commandments, pass beyond the bounds of the law) against Yahweh, and that person be guilty;

5:7  Then they shall confess their sin which they have done: and he shall recompense his trespass (H817- restitution of guilt) with the principal thereof, and add unto it the fifth part thereof, and give it unto him against whom he hath trespassed (H816- offended, was guilty against).

Numbers 5:12  Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, If any man's wife go aside (astray), and commit a trespass (H4604- treacherous act) against him,

 5:13  And a man lie with her carnally (with sexual seed), and it be hid from the eyes of her husband, and be kept close, and she be defiled, and there be no witness against her, neither she be taken with the manner;

5:14  And the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be defiled: or if the spirit of jealousy come upon him, and he be jealous of his wife, and she be not defiled:

In other words, if he suspects something.

5:15  Then shall the man bring his wife unto the priest, and he shall bring her offering for her, the tenth part of an ephah of barley meal; he shall pour no oil upon it, nor put frankincense thereon; for it is an offering of jealousy, an offering of memorial, bringing iniquity to remembrance.

The priest would then take holy water and dust and she would drink it. If she were guilty, then Yahweh would cause an internal disorder, and her abdomen would swell.

5:27  And when he hath made her to drink the water, then it shall come to pass, that, if she be defiled, and have done trespass (H4604- a treacherous unfaithful act) against her husband, that the water that causeth the curse shall enter into her, and become bitter, and her belly shall swell, and her thigh shall rot (uterus shall fall): and the woman shall be a curse among her people.

If the woman was guilty, her punishment was infertility, as her uterus had dropped and she could no longer conceive. If she was innocent, she could conceive, as shown in the next verse.

5:28  And if the woman be not defiled, but be clean; then she shall be free, and shall conceive seed.

Numbers 14:18  Yahweh is longsuffering (slow to anger), and of great mercy, forgiving iniquity and transgression (H6588- rebellion), and by no means clearing the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation.   (Ex 34:6-7)

Numbers 14:36  And the men, which Moses sent to search the land, who returned, and made all the congregation to murmur against him, by bringing up a slander upon the land,

14:37  Even those men that did bring up the evil report upon the land, died by the plague before Yahweh.

1Corinthians 10:10  Neither murmur ye, as some of them also murmured, and were destroyed of the destroyer.

14:38  But Joshua the son of Nun, and Caleb the son of Jephunneh, which were of the men that went to search the land, lived still.

14:39  And Moses told these sayings unto all the children of Israel: and the people mourned greatly.

14:40  And they rose up early in the morning, and gat them up into the top of the mountain, saying, Lo, we be here, and will go up unto the place which Yahweh hath promised: for we have sinned.

14:41  And Moses said, Wherefore now do you transgress (H5674- willfully rebel and go beyond) the commandment of Yahweh? but it shall not prosper.

14:42  Go not up, for Yahweh is not among you; that you be not smitten before your enemies.

14:43  For the Amalekites and the Canaanites are there before you, and you shall fall by the sword: because you are turned away from (following) Yahweh, therefore Yahweh will not be with you.

The “churches” teach that His Grace is Sufficient. But it is shown here that even after they acknowledged they have sinned, Yahweh was not with them.

His Grace is Sufficient, if you obey and follow Yahweh, always.

Numbers 31:15  And Moses said unto them, Have you saved all the women alive?

31:16  Behold, these caused the children of Israel, through the counsel of Balaam, to commit trespass (H4604- unfaithful and treacherous acts) against Yahweh in the matter of Peor, and there was a plague among the congregation of Yahweh.

31:17  Now therefore kill every male among the little ones, and kill every woman that hath known man by lying with him.

31:18  But all the women children, that have not known a man by lying with him, keep alive for yourselves.

These were Adamic females that became pagan. (31:11)

The people of Midian were of the descendants of Adam. In Genesis 25:2 we see that Midian was the son of Abraham by Keturah. Keturah was a concubine, not the first wife. There was no inheritance for a son of a concubine. Isaac gets the inheritance.

The Midianites were never in bondage in Egypt, and were not of the covenant people (Israel), even though they were of Adamic seedline at that time. They had picked up some customs of the Canaanites, and some of their religious practices. These practices put them in conflict with the Yahweh worshiping Israelites. And the Midianites had mixed a bit with the locals, so there were some mixed blood among them.

The virgins among the young Midianite women were spared because they were kin to Israel.

Deuteronomy 17:2  If there be found among you, within any of your gates which Yahweh your God giveth you, man or woman, that hath wrought wickedness in the sight of Yahweh your God, in transgressing (H5674- rebelling against, passing beyond the bounds of the law of) His covenant,

 17:3  And hath gone and served other gods, and worshipped them, either the sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven (the sky), which I have not commanded;

Exodus 22:20  He that sacrificeth unto any god, save unto Yahweh only, he shall be utterly destroyed.

17:4  And it be told you (reported to you), and you hast heard of it, and enquired diligently, and, behold, it be true, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought in Israel:

17:5  Then shalt you bring forth that man or that woman, which have committed that wicked thing, unto your gates, even that man or that woman, and shalt stone them with stones, till they die.

Deuteronomy 26:12  When you hast made an end of tithing all the tithes of your increase the third year, which is the year of tithing, and hast given it unto the Levite, the stranger (of kin), the fatherless, and the widow, that they may eat within your gates, and be filled;

26:13  Then you shalt say before Yahweh your God, I have brought away the hallowed things out of mine house, and also have given them unto the Levite, and unto the stranger (of kin), to the fatherless, and to the widow, according to all Your commandments which You hast commanded me: I have not transgressed (H5674- rebelled against, passed beyond) Your commandments, neither have I forgotten them:

Hallowed things are the food items set aside for tithing.

Deuteronomy 32:48  And Yahweh spake unto Moses that selfsame day, saying,

32:49  Get you up into this mountain Abarim, unto mount Nebo, which is in the land of Moab, that is over against Jericho; and behold the land of Canaan, which I give unto the children of Israel for a possession:

32:50  And die in the mount whither you goest up, and be gathered unto your people; as Aaron your brother died in mount Hor, and was gathered unto his people:

32:51  Because you trespassed (H4603- acted treacherously, passed beyond the bounds) against Me among the children of Israel at the waters of Meribah-Kadesh, in the wilderness of Zin; because you sanctified Me not in the midst of the children of Israel.

Moses hit the rock twice and in anger. He was supposed to speak to it.

32:52  Yet you shalt see the land before you; but you shalt not go thither unto the land which I give the children of Israel.

Achan's sin

Joshua 7:1  But the children of Israel committed a trespass (H4604- treacherous act) in the accursed thing: for Achan, the son of Carmi, the son of Zabdi, the son of Zerah, of the tribe of Judah, took of the accursed thing: and the anger of Yahweh was kindled against the children of Israel.

Everything in Jericho, except Rahab and her family, and the gold, silver, bronze and iron, were accursed. Devoted to utter destruction. The events in chapter 7 show that the sins of the people will affect the sins of the nation.

Joshua 7:11  Israel hath sinned, and they have also transgressed (H5674- rebelled, passed beyond the bounds of ) My covenant which I commanded them: for they have even taken of the accursed thing, and have also stolen, and dissembled also, and they have put it even among their own stuff.

Yahweh does not want Canaanite things among Israelite things.

7:12  Therefore the children of Israel could not stand before their (hated) enemies, but turned their backs before their (hated) enemies, because they were accursed (devoted to utter destruction): neither will I be with you any more, except ye destroy the accursed from among you.

7:13  Up, sanctify the people, and say, Sanctify yourselves against to morrow: for thus saith Yahweh God of Israel, There is an accursed thing in the midst of you, O Israel: you canst not stand before your enemies, until ye take away the accursed thing from among you.

When you take from the accursed thing that is devoted to utter destruction, you also become a part of that devoted thing.

7:14  In the morning therefore ye shall be brought according to your tribes: and it shall be, that the tribe which Yahweh taketh (by lot) shall come according to the families thereof; and the family which Yahweh shall take (by lot) shall come by households; and the household which Yahweh shall take (by lot) shall come man by man.

7:15  And it shall be, that he that is taken (by lot) with the accursed thing shall be burnt (destroyed utterly) with fire, he and all that he hath: because he hath transgressed the covenant of Yahweh, and because he hath wrought folly (a disgraceful act) in Israel.

The lot fell upon the tribe of Judah, which eventually lead to Achan.

7:24  And Joshua, and all Israel with him, took Achan the son of Zerah, and the silver, and the garment, and the wedge of gold, and his sons, and his daughters, and his oxen, and his asses, and his sheep, and his tent, and all that he had: and they brought them unto the valley of Achor.

7:25  And Joshua said, Why hast you troubled us? Yahweh shall trouble you this day. And all Israel stoned him with stones, and burned them with fire, after they had stoned them with stones.

7:26  And they raised over him a great heap of stones unto this day. So Yahweh turned from the fierceness (burning) of His anger. Wherefore the name of that place was called, The valley of Achor, unto this day.

The sin of Achan and his family disturbed the peace and blessings of Yahweh towards the nation. We, as members of the body, must all follow The Way, otherwise the body becomes corrupt. Hence, accursed, devoted to utter destruction.

Note: When we sin and take of accursed things we wonder why we have achans and pains!

After the tribes of Reuben, Gad and the ½ tribe of Manasseh fulfilled their duty to help their brethren possess the land west of the Jordan, they returned to their possession east of the Jordan.

Joshua 22:10  And when they came unto the borders of Jordan, that are in the land of Canaan, the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh built there an altar by Jordan, a great altar to see to.

Well, the other tribes heard of it and gathered themselves together to go to war against them.

22:15  And they came unto the children of Reuben, and to the children of Gad, and to the half tribe of Manasseh, unto the land of Gilead, and they spake with them, saying,

22:16  Thus saith the whole congregation of Yahweh, What trespass (H4604- unfaithful treachery) is this that ye have committed against the Elohiym of Israel, to turn away this day from following Yahweh, in that ye have builded you an altar, that ye might rebel this day against Yahweh?

They thought they were building a pagan altar.

22:20  Did not Achan the son of Zerah commit a trespass (H4604- treacherous act) in the accursed thing, and wrath fell on all the congregation of Israel? and that man perished not alone in his iniquity.

22:21  Then the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the half tribe of Manasseh answered, and said unto the heads of the thousands of Israel,

22:22  Yahweh God of gods, Yahweh God of gods, He knoweth, and Israel he shall know; if it be in rebellion, or if in transgression (H4604- unfaithfulness, treachery) against Yahweh, (save us not this day,)

 22:23  That we have built us an altar to turn from following Yahweh, or if to offer thereon burnt offering or meat (grain) offering, or if to offer peace offerings thereon, let Yahweh Himself require it;

22:24  And if we have not rather done it for fear of this thing, saying, In time to come your children might speak unto our children, saying, What have ye to do with Yahweh God of Israel?

22:25  For Yahweh hath made Jordan a border between us and you, ye children of Reuben and children of Gad; ye have no part in Yahweh: so shall your children make our children cease from fearing Yahweh.

22:26  Therefore we said, Let us now prepare to build us an altar, not for burnt offering, nor for sacrifice:

22:27  But that it may be a witness between us, and you, and our generations after us, that we might do the service of Yahweh before Him with our burnt offerings, and with our sacrifices, and with our peace offerings; that your children may not say to our children in time to come, Ye have no part in Yahweh.

22:28  Therefore said we, that it shall be, when they should so say to us or to our generations in time to come, that we may say again, Behold the pattern of the altar of Yahweh, which our (fore) fathers made, not for burnt offerings, nor for sacrifices; but it is a witness between us and you.

This altar was built to commemorate, not to rebel.

22:29  God forbid that we should rebel against Yahweh, and turn this day from following Yahweh, to build an altar for burnt offerings, for meat (grain) offerings, or for sacrifices, beside the altar of Yahweh our God that is before His tabernacle.

Deuteronomy 12:13-14

13  Take heed to thyself that thou offer not thy burnt offerings in every place that thou seest:

14  But in the place which Yahweh shall choose in one of thy tribes, there thou shalt offer thy burnt offerings, and there thou shalt do all that I command thee.

22:30  And when Phinehas the priest, and the princes of the congregation and heads of the thousands of Israel which were with him, heard the words that the children of Reuben and the children of Gad and the children of Manasseh spake, it pleased them.

22:31  And Phinehas the son of Eleazar the priest said unto the children of Reuben, and to the children of Gad, and to the children of Manasseh, This day we perceive that Yahweh is among us, because ye have not committed this trespass (H4604- unfaithful treachery) against Yahweh: now ye have delivered the children of Israel out of the hand of Yahweh.

It was not irreverent that they built a copy of the altar, it was in reverence. They did not plan to sacrifice on it. It was a witness that they were also Israelites to the later generations, even though they lived on the other side of the Jordan.

It is always wise to consider a case before a judgment or decision is made, and of course include Yahweh in that discernment. The Israelites were about to have a civil war over a misunderstanding.

Joshua 23:16  When ye have transgressed (H5674- rebelled, passed beyond the bounds of) the covenant of Yahweh your God, which He commanded you, and have gone and served other gods, and bowed yourselves to them; then shall the anger of Yahweh be kindled against you, and ye shall perish quickly from off the good land which He hath given unto you.

Joshua 24:14  Now therefore fear (revere) Yahweh, and serve Him in sincerity and in truth: and put away the gods which your (fore) fathers served on the other side of the flood, and in Egypt; and serve ye Yahweh.

Deuteronomy 10:12  And now, Israel, what doth Yahweh thy God require of thee, but to fear Yahweh thy God, to walk in all His ways, and to love Him, and to serve Yahweh thy God with all thy heart and with all thy soul,

1Samuel 12:24  Only fear Yahweh, and serve Him in truth with all your heart: for consider how great things He hath done for you.

24:15  And if it seem evil unto you to serve Yahweh, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your (fore) fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve Yahweh.

 24:16  And the people answered and said, God forbid that we should forsake Yahweh, to serve other gods;

24:17  For Yahweh our God, He it is that brought us up and our (fore) fathers out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage, and which did those great signs in our sight, and preserved us in all the way wherein we went, and among all the people through whom we passed:

24:18  And Yahweh drave out from before us all the people, even the Amorites which dwelt in the land: therefore will we also serve Yahweh; for He is our God.

24:19  And Joshua said unto the people, Ye cannot (are not able to) serve Yahweh: for He is an holy (set apart) God; He is a jealous God; He will not forgive your transgressions (H6588- guilt, rebellion) nor your sins.

You cannot serve Yahweh if you are a habitual sinner.

Matthew 6:24  No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

24:20  If ye forsake Yahweh, and serve strange gods, then He will turn and do you hurt, and consume you, after that He hath done you good.

24:21  And the people said unto Joshua, Nay; but we will serve Yahweh.

So much for 'once saved, always saved'!

Judges 2:19  And it came to pass, when the judge was dead, that they returned, and corrupted themselves more than their fathers (ancestors), in following other gods to serve them, and to bow down unto them; they ceased not from their own doings (practices), nor from their stubborn way.

 2:20  And the anger of Yahweh was hot against Israel; and He said, Because that this people hath transgressed (H5674- rebelled, passed beyond the bounds of) My covenant which I commanded their fathers (ancestors), and have not hearkened unto My voice;

2:21  I also will not henceforth drive out any from before them of the nations which Joshua left when he died:

2:22  That through them I may prove Israel, whether they will keep the way of Yahweh to walk therein, as their fathers (ancestors) did keep it, or not.

People often wonder why God allows evil to continue. Read verse 22 again.

1Samuel 2:22  Now Eli was very old, and heard all that his sons did unto all Israel; and how they lay with the women that assembled at the door of the tabernacle of the congregation (tent of meeting).

2:23  And he said unto them, Why do ye such things? for I hear of your evil dealings by all this people.

2:24  Nay, my sons; for it is no good report that I hear: ye make Yahweh's people to transgress (H5674- to be alienated, fall away, pass beyond the bounds of the law).

2:25  If one man sin against another, the judge shall judge him: but if a man sin against Yahweh, who shall intreat for him? Notwithstanding they hearkened not unto the voice of their father, because Yahweh would slay them.

1Samuel 14:31  And they smote the Philistines that day from Michmash to Aijalon: and the people were very faint.

14:32  And the people flew upon the spoil, and took sheep, and oxen, and calves, and slew them on the ground: and the people did eat them with the blood.

Leviticus 3:17  It shall be a perpetual statute for your generations throughout all your dwellings, that ye eat neither fat nor blood.

Leviticus 7:26  Moreover ye shall eat no manner of blood, whether it be of fowl or of beast, in any of your dwellings.

14:33  Then they told Saul, saying, Behold, the people sin against Yahweh, in that they eat with the blood. And he said, Ye have transgressed (H898- acted treacherously, offended, passed beyond the bounds of the law): roll a great stone unto me this day.

14:34  And Saul said, Disperse yourselves among the people, and say unto them, Bring me hither every man his ox, and every man his sheep, and slay them here, and eat; and sin not against Yahweh in eating with the blood. And all the people brought every man his ox with him that night, and slew them there.

14:35  And Saul built an altar unto Yahweh: the same was the first altar that he built unto Yahweh.

Saul was not a priest and had himself transgressed the bounds of the law by sacrificing the animals. Saul did several things which offended Yahweh, which is why he was stripped of his kingship.

15:22  And Samuel said, Hath Yahweh as great delight in burnt offerings and sacrifices, as in obeying the voice of Yahweh? Behold, to obey is better than sacrifice, and to hearken than the fat of rams.

15:23  For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because you hast rejected the word of Yahweh, He hath also rejected you from being king.

15:24  And Saul said unto Samuel, I have sinned (missed the mark of duty): for I have transgressed (H5674- rebelled, passed beyond the bounds of) the commandment of Yahweh, and your words: because I feared the people, and obeyed their voice.

15:25  Now therefore, I pray you, pardon my sin, and turn again with me, that I may worship Yahweh.

15:26  And Samuel said unto Saul, I will not return with you: for you hast rejected the word of Yahweh, and Yahweh hath rejected you from being king over Israel.

1Samuel 24:10  Behold, this day your eyes have seen how that Yahweh had delivered you to day into mine hand in the cave: and some bade me kill you: but mine eye spared you; and I said, I will not put forth mine hand against my lord; for he is Yahweh's anointed.

24:11  Moreover, my father, see, yea, see the skirt of your robe in my hand: for in that I cut off the skirt of your robe, and killed you not, know you and see that there is neither evil nor transgression (H6588- treachery, guilt, trespass, injustice) in mine hand, and I have not sinned against you; yet you huntest my soul to take it.

Solomon's Temple prayer, verses 8:23-53.

1Kings 8:50  And forgive Your people that have sinned against You, and all their transgressions (H6588- rebellion) wherein they have transgressed (H6586- rebelled) against You, and give them compassion before them who carried them captive, that they may have compassion on them:

Transgression is rebellion.

Jeroboam had set up golden calf altars in Dan and Bethel, and changed the feast of booths to the next month, all to keep the Israelites from going to Judah.

1Kings 12:19  So Israel rebelled (H6586- revolted) against the house of David unto this day.

2Kings 18:11  And the king of Assyria did carry away Israel unto Assyria, and put them in Halah and in Habor by the river of Gozan, and in the cities of the Medes:

18:12  Because they obeyed not the voice of Yahweh their God, but transgressed (H5674- rebelled, passed beyond the laws of) His covenant, and all that Moses the servant of Yahweh commanded, and would not hear them, nor do them.

Throughout history, whenever we rebel against Yahweh, we are punished.

1Chronicles 9:1  So all Israel were reckoned by genealogies; and, behold, they were written in the book of the kings of Israel and Judah, who were carried away to Babylon for their transgression (H4604- unfaithful, treacherous, rebellion).

1Chronicles 10:13  So Saul died for his transgression (H4604- trespass, treachery, rebellion, passing beyond the bounds of the law) which he committed against Yahweh, even against the word of Yahweh, which he kept not, and also for asking counsel of one that had a familiar spirit, to enquire of it;

The witch of Endor.

10:14  And enquired not of Yahweh: therefore He slew him, and turned the kingdom unto David the son of Jesse.

Saul was not good at following Yahweh's orders.

1Samuel 13:13  And Samuel said to Saul (after Saul performed a ritual), Thou hast done foolishly: thou hast not kept the commandment of Yahweh thy God, which He commanded thee: for now would Yahweh have established thy kingdom upon Israel for ever.

15:23  For rebellion is as the sin of witchcraft, and stubbornness is as iniquity and idolatry. Because thou hast rejected the word of Yahweh, He hath also rejected thee from being king.

When the men of Israel came to ask Reheboam to ease their yoke, Rehoboam chose to follow the advise of his young men rather than the older more righteous men that served his father Solomon.

2Chronicles 10:19  And Israel rebelled (H6586- revolted) against the house of David unto this day.

Rehoboam humbled

2Chronicles 24:20  And the Spirit of God came upon Zechariah the son of Jehoiada the priest, which stood above the people, and said unto them, Thus saith God, Why transgress (H5674- pass beyond the bounds of the law, rebel) ye the commandments of Yahweh, that ye cannot prosper? because ye have forsaken Yahweh, He hath also forsaken you.

2Chronicles 26:14  And Uzziah prepared for them throughout all the host shields, and spears, and helmets, and habergeons (breastplates), and bows, and slings to cast stones.

26:15  And he made in Jerusalem engines, invented by cunning men, to be on the towers and upon the bulwarks, to shoot arrows and great stones withal. And his name spread far abroad; for he was marvellously helped, till he was strong.

26:16  But when he was strong, his heart was lifted up to his destruction: for he transgressed (H4603- acted treacherously, passed beyond the bounds of the law) against Yahweh his God, and went into the temple of Yahweh to burn incense upon the altar of incense.

26:17  And Azariah the priest went in after him, and with him fourscore priests of Yahweh, that were valiant men:

26:18  And they withstood Uzziah the king, and said unto him, It appertaineth not unto thee, Uzziah, to burn incense unto Yahweh, but to the priests the sons of Aaron, that are consecrated to burn incense: go out of the sanctuary; for thou hast trespassed (H4603- acted treacherously, passed beyond the bounds of the law); neither shall it be for thine honour from Yahweh God.

Verse 18 is a separation of church and state. Each has it's own duty. Each has it's own role. Only the sons of Aaron were qualified to burn incense in the sanctuary.

26:19  Then Uzziah was wroth, and had a censer in his hand to burn incense: and while he was wroth with the priests, the leprosy even rose up in his forehead before the priests in the house of Yahweh, from beside the incense altar.

26:20  And Azariah the chief priest, and all the priests, looked upon him, and, behold, he was leprous in his forehead, and they thrust him out from thence; yea, himself hasted also to go out, because Yahweh had smitten him.

26:21  And Uzziah the king was a leper unto the day of his death, and dwelt in a several house, being a leper; for he was cut off from the house of Yahweh: and Jotham his son was over the king's house, judging the people of the land.

2Chronicles 28:17  For again the Edomites had come and smitten Judah, and carried away captives.

28:18  The Philistines also had invaded the cities of the low country, and of the south of Judah, and had taken Bethshemesh, and Ajalon, and Gederoth, and Shocho with the villages thereof, and Timnah with the villages thereof, Gimzo also and the villages thereof: and they dwelt there.

28:19  For Yahweh brought Judah low because of Ahaz king of Judah; for he made Judah naked, and transgressed (H4603- acted treacherously, rebelled) sore (H4304- unfaithfully) against Yahweh.

28:20  And Tilgathpilneser king of Assyria came unto him, and distressed him, but strengthened him not.

28:21  For Ahaz took away a portion out of the house of Yahweh, and out of the house of the king, and of the princes, and gave it unto the king of Assyria: but he helped him not.

28:22  And in the time of his distress did he trespass (H4603- departed, acted unfaithfully, treacherously) yet more against Yahweh: this is that king Ahaz.

28:23  For he sacrificed unto the gods of Damascus, which smote him: and he said, Because the gods of the kings of Syria help them, therefore will I sacrifice to them, that they may help me. But they were the ruin of him, and of all Israel.

Jeremiah 44:17-18

17  But we will certainly do whatsoever thing goeth forth out of our own mouth, to burn incense unto the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, as we have done, we, and our fathers, our kings, and our princes, in the cities of Judah, and in the streets of Jerusalem: for then had we plenty of victuals, and were well, and saw no evil.

18  But since we left off to burn incense to the queen of heaven, and to pour out drink offerings unto her, we have wanted all things, and have been consumed by the sword and by the famine.

28:24  And Ahaz gathered together the vessels of the house of God, and cut in pieces the vessels of the house of God, and shut up the doors of the house of Yahweh, and he made him altars in every corner of Jerusalem.

28:25  And in every several city of Judah he made high places to burn incense unto other gods, and provoked to anger Yahweh God of his fathers.

2Chronicles 29:3  He (Hezekiah) in the first year of his reign, in the first month, opened the doors of the house of Yahweh, and repaired them.

29:4  And he brought in the priests and the Levites, and gathered them together into the east street,

29:5  And said unto them, Hear me, ye Levites, sanctify now yourselves, and sanctify the house of Yahweh God of your fathers, and carry forth the filthiness out of the holy place.

29:6  For our fathers have trespassed (H4603- acted unfaithfully, treacherously, rebelled), and done that which was evil in the eyes of Yahweh our God, and have forsaken Him, and have turned away their faces from the habitation of Yahweh, and turned their backs.

29:17  Now they (the Levites) began on the first day of the first month to sanctify, and on the eighth day of the month came they to the porch of Yahweh: so they sanctified the house of Yahweh in eight days; and in the sixteenth day of the first month they made an end.

29:18  Then they went in to Hezekiah the king, and said, We have cleansed all the house of Yahweh, and the altar of burnt offering, with all the vessels thereof, and the shewbread table, with all the vessels thereof.

29:19  Moreover all the vessels, which king Ahaz in his reign did cast away in his transgression (H4604- rebellion, unfaithfulness, treachery), have we prepared and sanctified, and, behold, they are before the altar of Yahweh.

2Chronicles 30:5  So they established a decree to make proclamation throughout all Israel, from Beersheba even to Dan, that they should come to keep the passover unto Yahweh God of Israel at Jerusalem: for they had not done it of a long time in such sort as it was written.

30:6  So the posts went with the letters from the king and his princes throughout all Israel and Judah, and according to the commandment of the king, saying, Ye children of Israel, turn again unto Yahweh God of Abraham, Isaac, and Israel, and he will return to the remnant of you, that are escaped out of the hand of the kings of Assyria.

Jeremiah 4:1  If thou wilt return, O Israel, saith Yahweh, return unto Me: and if thou wilt put away thine abominations out of My sight, then shalt thou not remove.

Joel 2:13  And rend your heart, and not your garments, and turn unto Yahweh your God: for He is gracious and merciful, slow to anger, and of great kindness, and repenteth Him of the evil.

30:7  And be not ye like your fathers, and like your brethren, which trespassed (H4603- rebelled, acted unfaithfully, treacherously) against Yahweh God of their fathers, who therefore gave them up to desolation, as ye see.

Manasseh was an evil king, but he humbled himself greatly and besought Yahweh. And Yahweh was intreated of him.

2Chronicles 33:19  His prayer also, and how God was intreated of him, and all his sin, and his trespass (H4604- rebellion, unfaithfulness, treachery), and the places wherein he built high places, and set up groves (carved idols to Asherah) and graven images, before he was humbled: behold, they are written among the sayings of the seers.

You can read The Prayer of Manasseh in the Apocrypha.

2Chronicles 36:12  And he (Zedekiah) did that which was evil in the sight of Yahweh his God, and humbled not himself before Jeremiah the prophet speaking from the mouth of Yahweh.

36:13  And he also rebelled against king Nebuchadnezzar, who had made him swear by God: but he stiffened his neck, and hardened his heart from turning unto Yahweh God of Israel.

36:14  Moreover all the chief of the priests, and the people, transgressed very much (H4603/4604- rebelled, acted unfaithfully and treacherously) after all the abominations of the heathen; and polluted the house of Yahweh which He had hallowed in Jerusalem.

36:15  And Yahweh God of their fathers sent to them by his messengers, rising up betimes, and sending; because He had compassion on His people, and on His dwelling place:

36:16  But they mocked the messengers of God, and despised His words, and misused His prophets, until the wrath of Yahweh arose against his people, till there was no remedy.

Ezra 9:1  Now when these things were done, the princes came to me, saying, The people of Israel, and the priests, and the Levites, have not separated themselves from the people of the lands, doing according to their abominations, even of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.

The “churches” never read these chapters. These are plain rebukes of race mixing. Being separate from the other races. Every white empire from the days of Nimrod until America started out under law and racial segregation. The Jews (Canaanites/Edomites) always sneak in and corrupt the society with their race mixing propaganda and every time, we bite and become sick. Race mixing used to be a crime in America!

9:2  For they (Israelites) have taken of their (other races) daughters for themselves, and for their sons: so that the holy seed (Israelites) have mingled themselves with the people of those lands (other races): yea, the hand of the princes and rulers hath been chief in this trespass (H4604- unfaithfulness, treachery).

The princes and rulers are supposed to be an example.

9:3  And when I heard this thing, I rent my garment and my mantle, and plucked off the hair of my head and of my beard, and sat down astonied.

9:4  Then were assembled unto me every one that trembled at the words of the God of Israel, because of the transgression (H4604- rebellion, unfaithfulness, treachery) of those that had been carried away; and I sat astonied until the evening sacrifice.

Ezra was still astonished at the magnitude of race mixing among his people. Just like we are experiencing the magnitude of America's racially mixed multitude.

Ezra 10:2  And Shechaniah the son of Jehiel, one of the sons of Elam, answered and said unto Ezra, We have trespassed against our God, and have taken strange wives of the people of the land: yet now there is hope in Israel concerning this thing.

They were acknowledging their error, confessing, repenting and doing something about it.

10:3  Now therefore let us make a covenant with our God to put away all the wives, and such as are born of them, according to the counsel of my master, and of those that tremble at the commandment of our God; and let it be done according to the law.

10:5  Then arose Ezra, and made the chief priests, the Levites, and all Israel, to swear that they should do according to this word. And they sware.

They swore to cast out these strange people. Most were their own families.

10:6  Then Ezra rose up from before the house of God, and went into the chamber of Johanan the son of Eliashib: and when he came thither, he did eat no bread, nor drink water: for he mourned because of the transgression (H4604- unfaithfulness) of them that had been carried away.

10:10  And Ezra the priest stood up, and said unto them, Ye have transgressed (H4603- acted unfaithfully, treacherously), and have taken strange wives, to increase the trespass of Israel.

10:11  Now therefore make confession unto Yahweh God of your fathers, and do His pleasure: and separate yourselves from the people of the land, and from the strange wives.

Proverbs 28:13  He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.

10:12  Then all the congregation answered and said with a loud voice, As thou hast said, so must we do.

Septuagint: 12  Then all the congregation answered and said, This thy word is powerful upon us to do it.

10:13  But the people are many, and it is a time of much rain, and we are not able to stand without (outside), neither is this a work of one day or two: for we are many that have transgressed (H6586- rebelled, sinned greatly) in this thing.

It's going to take some time to sort this out.

10:14  Let now our rulers of all the congregation stand, and let all them which have taken strange wives in our cities come at appointed times, and with them the elders of every city, and the judges thereof, until the fierce wrath of our God for this matter be turned from us.

10:15  Only Jonathan the son of Asahel and Jahaziah the son of Tikvah were employed about this matter: and Meshullam and Shabbethai the Levite helped them.

Four man committee. They checked the genealogies and set up appointed times to ship em' out. Deportation. If four men could do it then, surely we could set up a committee and deport all our aliens and strange people. But it's too late, America is deceived and saturated with evil and mixed races. The “churches” would never follow God's laws, they teach Judaism, which is the main problem! The Jews are NOT Israelites! God does not teach multi-culturalism!

Nehemiah 1:7  We have dealt very corruptly against You, and have not kept the commandments, nor the statutes, nor the judgments, which You commandedst Your servant Moses.

1:8  Remember, I beseech You, the word that You commandedst Your servant Moses, saying, If ye transgress (H4603- act unfaithfully, treacherously, rebel, pass beyond the bounds of the law), I will scatter you abroad among the nations:

Leviticus 26:33  And I will scatter you among the heathen (nations), and will draw out a sword after you: and your land shall be desolate, and your cities waste.

Deuteronomy 4:25-27

25  When thou shalt beget children, and children's children, and ye shall have remained long in the land, and shall corrupt yourselves, and make a graven image, or the likeness of any thing, and shall do evil in the sight of Yahweh thy God, to provoke Him to anger:

26  I call heaven and earth to witness against you this day, that ye shall soon utterly perish from off the land whereunto ye go over Jordan to possess it; ye shall not prolong your days upon it, but shall utterly be destroyed.

27  And Yahweh shall scatter you among the nations, and ye shall be left few in number among the heathen (nations), whither Yahweh shall lead you.

Deuteronomy 28:64  And Yahweh shall scatter thee among all people, from the one end of the earth even unto the other; and there thou shalt serve other gods, which neither thou nor thy fathers have known, even wood and stone.

He warned our fathers, and proved His punishment by casting them off into captivity.

1:9  But if ye turn unto Me, and keep My commandments, and do them; though there were of you cast out unto the uttermost part of the heaven, yet will I gather them from thence, and will bring them unto the place that I have chosen to set My name there.

Which eventually became America. The regathering place of the 12 tribes of Jacob.

Nehemiah 13:23  In those days also saw I Judahites that had married wives of Ashdod, of Ammon, and of Moab:

Ezra 9:2  For they have taken of their daughters for themselves, and for their sons: so that the holy seed have mingled themselves with the people of those lands: yea, the hand of the princes and rulers hath been chief in this trespass.

The authorities and upper class were more guilty of this.

13:24  And their children spake half in the speech of Ashdod, and could not speak in the Judahites' language, but according to the language of each people.

13:25  And I contended with them, and cursed them, and smote certain of them, and plucked off their hair, and made them swear by God, saying, Ye shall not give your daughters unto their sons, nor take their daughters unto your sons, or for yourselves.

In other words: “DO NOT RACE MIX!!!”

13:26  Did not Solomon king of Israel sin by these things? yet among many nations was there no king like him, who was beloved of his God, and God made him king over all Israel: nevertheless even him did outlandish women cause to sin.

1Kings 11:1  But king Solomon loved many strange women, together with the daughter of Pharaoh, women of the Moabites, Ammonites, Edomites, Zidonians, and Hittites;

2  Of the nations concerning which Yahweh said unto the children of Israel, Ye shall not go in to them, neither shall they come in unto you: for surely they will turn away your heart after their gods: Solomon clave unto these in love.

1Kings 11:4  For it came to pass, when Solomon was old, that his wives turned away his heart after other gods: and his heart was not perfect with Yahweh his God, as was the heart of David his father.

13:27  Shall we then hearken unto you to do all this great evil, to transgress (H4603- act unfaithfully, treacherously) against our God in marrying strange wives?

Job 13:23  How many are mine iniquities and sins? make me to know my transgression (H6588- rebellion, guilt, trespass, injustice) and my sin.

Job 33:8  (Elihu speaking) Surely thou hast spoken in mine hearing, and I have heard the voice of thy words, saying,

33:9  I am clean without transgression (H6588- rebellion, injustice, guilt), I am innocent; neither is there iniquity in me.

33:10  Behold, He findeth occasions (charges) against me, He counteth me for His enemy,

33:11  He putteth my feet in the stocks, He marketh all my paths. Job's dross.

Elihu continues...

34:37  For he addeth rebellion unto his sin, he clappeth his hands among us, and multiplieth his words against God.

Job did not see his own dross. Remember, it was Satan that was doing this to Job, not Yahweh.

Job is an example of trial by fire.

Job was humble. Then he exalted himself. And then he humbled himself. And was again exalted.

We all have a little dross.

Psalm 5:10  Destroy (Punish) You them, O God; let them fall by their own counsels (devices); cast them out in the multitude of their transgressions (H6588- ungodliness, guilt, rebellion, injustices); for they have rebelled against You.

51:2  Wash me throughly from mine iniquity, and cleanse me from my sin.

3Maccabees 2:19  Blot out our iniquities, and do away with our errors, and shew forth Your compassion in this hour.

51:12  Restore unto me the joy of Your salvation; and uphold me with Your free spirit (spirit of dignity).

51:13  Then will I teach transgressors (H6586- those that rebel and revolt against) Your ways; and sinners shall be converted (returned) unto You.

Yahweh divorced Israel because of idolatry and race mixing. He cast our ancestors off into captivity and exile. That is why they became the 'lost' sheep of the house of Israel. The gospel is the message to these 'lost' sheep that had lost and/or forgot their heritage, the torah, and their God. It is these same racial family of people whom Christ came for.

Yahweh's people were, is, and always will be only the children of Israel. Christ did not come for the whole world, He came for us, His kin, His race, His family. The Bible is the book of the generations of Adam. The race of Adam.

Chapter 57 explains that strangers of other races are not accepted.

Isaiah 57:3  But draw near hither, you sons of the sorceress, the seed of the adulterer and the whore.

The Septuagint and others read, sons of the sorceress as lawless children.

The seed of the adulterer and the whore.

Verse 4 points out a lawless (false) seed. This would be a seed conceived outside of the law. The seed of an adulterer and a whore would be outside the law, race mixing.

People are still seeking Yahweh, but most of them are looking in the wrong places. Most of them trust in the Judeo “churches” and have no idea they are being deceived. Chapter 58 details the lack of sincerity in fasting. Most all the “churches” don't even fast, or even know of the commandment to fast, or when.

The “churches” today are full of iniquity. They turn a blind eye to injustices, they cram their Judeo doctrine down your throat, they accept mixed race couples, homosexuals, they are the insincere fasters of chapter 58. They call Yahweh Baal (Lord), they worship a Jewish Jesus.

Our people have departed from Yahweh, they've turned to Humanism, Liberalism, Judaism, Scientology, Atheism, etc.

Isaiah 59:12  For our transgressions (H6588- rebellions) are multiplied before You (Yahweh), and our sins testify against us: for our transgressions (H6588- guilt, sins, trespass, unrighteous deeds) are with us; and as for our iniquities, we know them;

A race mixed child is a broken cistern. Chapter 2 is about Yahweh chastising Judah for race-mixing.

5:7  (Yahweh speaks) How shall I pardon you for this? your children have forsaken Me, and sworn by them that are no gods: when I had fed them to the full, they then committed adultery, and assembled themselves by troops in the harlots' houses.

Double for emphatic usage. Yahweh was very angry with the race-mixing His people were doing.

Yahweh depicts Himself as a man done wrong by His wife (Israel) in chapter 9.

Jeremiah 9:1  Oh that My head were waters, and Mine eyes a fountain of tears, that I might weep day and night for the slain of the daughter of My people!

The phrase 'the daughter of my people' refers to Jerusalem the city. The word appears throughout the prophets and the other books spoken of as colonies, or a settlement of people.

9:2  Oh that I had in the wilderness a lodging place of wayfaring men; that I might leave My people, and go from them! for they be all adulterers, an assembly of treacherous (H898- faithless) men.

The Septuagint has: “...and will make him desolate and ruined,...”

14:9  And if the prophet be deceived when he hath spoken a thing, I Yahweh have deceived that prophet, and I will stretch out My hand upon him, and will destroy him from the midst of My people Israel.

Septuagint reads: 9  And if a prophet should cause to err and should speak, I Yahweh have caused that prophet to err, and will stretch out My hand upon him, and will utterly destroy him from the midst of My people Israel.

 14:10  And they shall bear the punishment of their iniquity: the punishment of the prophet shall be even as the punishment of him that seeketh unto him;

Septuagint: 10  And they shall bear their iniquity according to the trespass of him that asks; and it shall be in like manner to the prophet according to the trespass:

14:11  That the house of Israel may go no more astray from Me, neither be polluted (defiled) any more with all their transgressions (H6588- sin, trespass, guilt); but that they may be My people, and I may be their God, saith Yahweh GOD.

A true prophet would not give the counsel of Yahweh to a sinful man. They are to be put away.

Repentance must be first before we appear before Yahweh.

14:12  The word of Yahweh came again to me, saying,

14:13  Son of man (adam), when the land (the people)  sinneth against Me by trespassing (H4603- acting) grievously (H4604- unfaithfully), then will I stretch out Mine hand upon it, and will break the staff of the bread thereof, and will send famine upon it, and will cut off man (adam) and beast from it:

14:14  Though these three men, Noah, Daniel, and Job, were in it, they should deliver but their own souls by their righteousness, saith Yahweh GOD.

Even the most pious men can only save their own souls.

Ezekiel 15:8  And I will make the land desolate, because they have committed a trespass (H4604-unfaithfullness), saith Yahweh GOD.

Which trespass has been committed making the land (people) desolate?

Race mixing.

Ezekiel 17:19  Therefore thus saith Yahweh GOD; As I live, surely Mine oath that he hath despised, and My covenant that he hath broken, even it will I recompense upon his own head.

17:20  And I will spread My net upon him, and he shall be taken in My snare, and I will bring him to Babylon, and will plead (pass judgment) with him there for his trespass (H4603- act of unfaithfulness) that he hath trespassed (H4603- acted unfaithfully) against Me.

Ezekiel 18:21  But if the wicked will turn from all his sins that he hath committed, and keep all My statutes, and do that which is lawful and right, he shall surely live, he shall not die.

18:22  All his transgressions (H6588- trespasses) that he hath committed, they shall not be mentioned unto him: in his righteousness that he hath done he shall live.

18:23  Have I any pleasure at all that the wicked should die? saith Yahweh GOD: and not that he should return from his ways, and live?

18:24  But when the righteous turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and doeth according to all the abominations that the wicked man doeth, shall he live? All his righteousness that he hath done shall not be mentioned: in his trespass (H4604- unfaithfullness, treachery) that he hath trespassed (H4603- committed), and in his sin that he hath sinned, in them shall he die.

18:25  Yet you say, The way of Yahweh is not equal. Hear now, O house of Israel; Is not My way equal? are not your ways unequal?

18:26  When a righteous man turneth away from his righteousness, and committeth iniquity, and dieth in them; for his iniquity that he hath done shall he die (the second death).

18:27  Again, when the wicked man turneth away from his wickedness that he hath committed, and doeth that which is lawful and right, he shall save his soul alive.

18:28  Because he considereth, and turneth away from all his transgressions (H6588- ungodliness, trespass, sin) that he hath committed, he shall surely live, he shall not die.

18:29  Yet saith the house of Israel, The way of Yahweh is not equal. O house of Israel, are not My ways equal? are not your ways unequal?

18:30  Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, every one according to his ways, saith Yahweh GOD. Repent, and turn yourselves from all your transgressions (H6588- ungodliness); so iniquity shall not be your ruin.

18:31  Cast away from you all your transgressions (H6588- ungodliness), whereby you have transgressed (H6586- rebelled, revolted)(against Me); and make you a new heart and a new spirit: for why will you die, O house of Israel?

Ezekiel 20:24  Because they had not executed My judgments, but had despised My statutes, and had polluted My sabbaths, and their eyes were after their fathers' idols.

 20:25  Wherefore I gave them also statutes that were not good, and judgments whereby they should not live;

Speaking of being given over to the laws and the land where they were dispersed that were not good for them.

20:26  And I polluted them in their own gifts, in that they caused to pass through the fire all that openeth the womb, that I might make them desolate, to the end that they might know that I am Yahweh.

The phrase 'pass through the fire' is referring to the Canaanite Jew sacrificial rituals where children are offered to Baal (the Lord) by being thrown in the fire.

20:27  Therefore, son of man (adam), speak unto the house of Israel, and say unto them, Thus saith Yahweh GOD; Yet in this your fathers have blasphemed Me, in that they have committed a trespass (H4604- unfaithfulness, treachery) against Me.

Romans 2:24  For the name of God is blasphemed among the nations through you, as it is written.

The Lord is a title, and not God's name. This is the title of Baal. When you call upon the Lord, you are calling upon Satan. STOP IT! His name is Yahweh.

20:37  And I will cause you to pass under the rod (as a shepherd counting his sheep), and I will bring you into the bond of the covenant (the New Covenant):

20:38  And I will purge out from among you the rebels, and them that transgress (H6586- rebel, revolt) against Me: I will bring them forth out of the country where they sojourn, and they shall not enter into the land of Israel: and you shall know that I am Yahweh.

20:39  As for you, O house of Israel, thus saith Yahweh GOD; Go you, serve you every one his idols, and hereafter also, if you will not hearken unto Me: but pollute you My holy name no more with your gifts, and with your idols.

Go to your idols (TV, sports, materialism, Jewish Jesus) if you will not listen to Yahweh. But stop performing empty rituals in His name (putting in your hour at church, honoring with your lips and not your hearts). Without true knowledge and understanding of your heritage and duty, you are polluting His holy name.

Ezekiel 21:24  Therefore thus saith Yahweh GOD; Because you have made your iniquity to be remembered, in that your transgressions (H6588- guilt, wickedness) are discovered, so that in all your doings your sins do appear; because, I say, that you are come to remembrance, you shall be taken with the hand.

Ezekiel 33:10  Therefore, O you son of man (adam), speak unto the house of Israel; Thus you speak, saying, If our transgressions (H6588- trespass, errors) and our sins be upon us, and we pine away (waste away) in them, how should we then live?

33:11  Say unto them, As I live, saith Yahweh GOD, I have no pleasure in the death of the wicked; but that the wicked turn from his way and live: turn you, turn you from your evil ways; for why will you die, O house of Israel?

33:12  Therefore, you son of man (adam), say unto the children of your people, The righteousness of the righteous shall not deliver him in the day of his transgression (H6588- error, guilt, trespass, rebellion): as for the wickedness of the wicked, he shall not fall thereby in the day that he turneth from his wickedness; neither shall the righteous be able to live for his righteousness in the day that he sinneth.

Ezekiel 37:23  Neither shall they defile themselves any more with their idols, nor with their detestable things, nor with any of their transgressions (H6588- rebellion, guilt, sin, trespass): but I will save them out of all their dwellingplaces, wherein they have sinned, and will cleanse them: so shall they be My people, and I will be their God.

Ezekiel 39:23  And the heathen (nations) shall know that the house of Israel went into captivity for their iniquity: because they trespassed (H4603- rebelled) against Me, therefore hid I My face from them, and gave them into the hand of their (hated) enemies: so fell they all by the sword.

Fell includes, by the sword as well as prostrate oneself to the enemy (surrender).

39:24  According to their uncleanness and according to their transgressions (H6588- rebellion) have I done unto them, and hid My face from them.

 39:25  Therefore thus saith Yahweh GOD; Now will I bring again the captivity (restore the captives) of Jacob, and have mercy (compassion) upon the whole house of Israel, and will be jealous (zealous) for My holy name;

39:26  After that they have borne their shame, and all their trespasses (H4604- unfaithfulness, iniquity) whereby they have trespassed (H4603- acted treacherously, committed) against Me, when they dwelt safely in their land, and none made them afraid.

Daniel 8:12  And an host was given him against the daily sacrifice by reason of transgression (H6588- rebellion, trespass, guilt), and it cast down the truth to the ground; and it practiced, and prospered.

A 'host' is a mass of people.

Septuagint: 12  And a sin-offering was given for the sacrifice, and righteousness was cast down to the ground; and it practised, and prospered.

8:13  Then I heard one saint (holy one) speaking, and another saint (holy one) said unto that certain saint which spake, How long shall be the vision concerning the daily sacrifice, and the transgression (H6588- sin, trespass, guilt) of desolation, to give both the sanctuary and the host to be trodden under foot?

Septuagint: 13  And I heard one saint speaking, and a saint said to a certain one speaking, How long shall the vision continue, even the removal of the sacrifice, and the bringing in of the sin of desolation; and how long shall the sanctuary and host be trampled?

8:23  And in the latter time of their (Alexander the Great's) kingdom, when the transgressors (H6586- revolters) are come to the full, a king of fierce countenance, and understanding dark sentences, shall stand up.

Doubtless 'dark sentences' is a reference to the Koran.

Daniel 9:7  O Yahweh, righteousness belongeth unto You, but unto us confusion of faces, as at this day; to the men of Judah, and to the inhabitants of Jerusalem, and unto all Israel, that are near, and that are far off, through all the countries whither You hast driven them, because of their trespass (H4604- unfaithful, treacherous sin) that they have trespassed (H4603- committed) against You.

Daniel confirms that the Israelites have been dispersed after the Assyrian captivity in the 700's BC and here in Babylon in the 500's BC. They eventually went on to settle the nations of Europe and eventually regathered here in America, fulfilling the 2520 year punishment in 1776!

The “churches” teach that the tribes disappeared or were absorbed by other nations.

9:8  O Yahweh, to us belongeth confusion of face, to our kings, to our princes (officers), and to our (fore) fathers, because we have sinned against You.

“confusion of face” refers to race mixed children. Mixed races among the Israelites. Here in America we now have 'confusion of face'. America was a white Christian nation, if our forefathers rose from the graves, they would see 'confusion of faces' in the country they built and died for!

 9:9  To Yahweh our God belong mercies and forgivenesses, though we have rebelled against Him;

9:10  Neither have we obeyed the voice of Yahweh our God, to walk in His laws, which He set before us by His servants the prophets.

9:11  Yea, all Israel have transgressed (H5674- passed beyond the bounds of) Your law (torah), even by departing, that they might not obey Your voice; therefore the curse is poured upon us, and the oath that is written in the law (torah) of Moses the servant of God, because we have sinned (miss the mark of duty) against Him.

9:24  Seventy weeks are determined upon your people and upon your holy city, to finish the transgression (H6588- guilt, sin, trespass), and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation (propitiation) for iniquity, and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy.

To Finish the Transgression of Israel:  His last words were “It is finished.”  His First Advent completed the Old Covenant of the ritual laws of blood sacrifice.  He was the last sacrifice under the Old Covenant.

The state of divorce between Israel and Yahweh. It releases Israel from marriage and satisfies the law of the husband. Romans 7:1-12. It frees Israel and allows for remarriage.

To Make and End of Sins:  The New Covenant, which was announced at the Last Supper, was prophesied by Jeremiah, in Chapter 31. (31-37)

At that time, 99.9% of the Israelites in the world were in the Dispersion (outside of Judaea); and they didn’t even know that their Messiah had come.  That Good News was not spread until after His death.

Sin did not end. It put an end to sins under the Old Covenant.

To Make Reconciliation for Iniquity:  Reconciliation is atonement for our sins.  As our Kinsman Redeemer, Yahshua Messiah took upon Himself all of our sins under the Old Covenant, thus atoning (covering over) for the millions of violations of our oath at Mt. Sinai.

To Bring In Everlasting Righteousness:  All of Christian history, starting from that day, was designed and intended by Yahweh to bring in everlasting righteousness (justice according to His Laws).  This will not be accomplished until the Second Coming, when both death and evil will be destroyed.

Everlasting righteousness belongs to those of the seed of Jacob and obedient to Christ.

To Seal Up the Vision and the Prophecy:  This means that Calvary fulfilled the Seventy Weeks prophecy.   All of the prophecies concerning the first Advent were fulfilled in Jesus Christ.

'Sealed up' means ratified.

To Anoint the Most Holy:  John 12:1-16 (Mark 14:3)

Hosea 5:7  They have dealt treacherously (H898- faithlessly) against Yahweh: for they have begotten strange (alien) children: now shall a month devour them with their portions (land inheritance).

Willful wickedness.

Jeremiah 3:20  Surely as a wife treacherously departeth from her husband, so have you dealt treacherously with Me, O house of Israel, saith Yahweh.

Hosea 6:4  (Yahweh speaking) O Ephraim, what shall I do unto you? O Judah, what shall I do unto you? for your goodness is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew it goeth away.

6:5  Therefore have I hewed them by the prophets; I have slain them by the words of My mouth: and your judgments are as the light that goeth forth.

6:6  For I desired mercy, and not sacrifice; and the knowledge of God more than burnt offerings.

The Septuagint has verse 5 to read: “Therefore have I mown down your prophets; I have slain them with the word of My mouth: and My judgment shall go forth as the light.” The goodness of Israel had evaporated like the morning dew, because the people were chasing idols and following the false prophets of the idols. A prophet is someone who speaks for a god, not necessarily for Yahweh the God of Israel.

Christ quoted this very passage of Hosea 6:6 in rebuttal to the legalism of the pharisees.

Matthew 9:13  But go you and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Isaiah 1:11  To what purpose is the multitude of your sacrifices unto Me? saith Yahweh: I am full of the burnt offerings of rams, and the fat of fed beasts; and I delight not in the blood of bullocks, or of lambs, or of he goats.

6:7  But they like men (adam) have transgressed (H5674- passed beyond the bounds of) the covenant: there have they dealt treacherously (H898- faithlessly) against Me.

6:8  Gilead is a city of them that work iniquity, and is polluted with blood.

Gilead is where false sacrifices occurred.

Hosea 7:11  Ephraim also is like a silly dove without heart (a mind): they call to Egypt, they go to Assyria.

7:12  When they shall go, I will spread My net upon them; I will bring them down as the fowls of the heaven (sky); I will chastise them, as their congregation hath heard.

The Israelites, rather than humbling themselves and repenting, arrogantly sought deliverance from the Assyrians through an alliance with Egypt. Yet Egypt was no salvation for them, and they ended up being taken away captive by the Assyrians, as God had willed. We also see that self-pride and vanity are factors in the national downfall.

Leviticus 26:14  But if you will not hearken unto Me, and will not do all these commandments;

7:13  Woe unto them! for they have fled from Me: destruction unto them! because they have transgressed (H6586- rebelled, revolted) against Me: though I have redeemed them, yet they have spoken lies against Me.

Those lies are the same lies we had seen mentioned in verse 3: “They make the king glad with their wickedness, and the princes with their lies.” The rulers are drunken with power, and the people have learned to repeat the same lies and propaganda (from the media, schools, and churches) which keep those rulers in power.

Hosea 8:1  Set the trumpet to your mouth. He shall come as an eagle against (over) the house of Yahweh, because they have transgressed (H5674- passed beyond the bounds of) My covenant, and trespassed (H6586- rebelled, revolted) against My law.

The eagle is a reference to the Assyrian invasion, being the result of Israel's rebellion against Yahweh.

Hosea 14:8  Ephraim shall say, What have I to do any more with idols? I have heard (answered) him, and observed (regarded) Him: I am like a green fir tree. From me is Your fruit found.

This happened, when the Germanic tribes accepted Christianity, and especially with the Reformation when the idols of Roman Catholicism were done away with.

14:9  Who is wise, and he shall understand these things? prudent, and he shall know them? for the ways of Yahweh are right, and the just shall walk in them: but the transgressors (H6586- those who rebel) shall fall therein.

Proverbs 10:29  The way of Yahweh is strength to the upright: but destruction shall be to the workers of iniquity.

The following verses of Amos are an oracle against Damascus. Syria was subjected to Israel by David. Damascus first revolted under Rezon in the days of Solomon (1 Kings chapter 11). In 1 Kings chapter 15, Damascus is still independent and in league with Judah against Israel.

Amos 1:3  Thus saith Yahweh; For three transgressions (H6588- sins, rebellion, revolt) of Damascus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have threshed Gilead with threshing instruments of iron:

1:4  But I will send a fire into the house of Hazael, which shall devour the palaces (fortresses) of Benhadad.

1:5  I will break also the bar (city gates) of Damascus, and cut off the inhabitant from the plain of Aven, and him that holdeth the sceptre from the house of Eden: and the people of Syria shall go into captivity unto Kir, saith Yahweh.   (Isa 17:1-3; Jer 49:23-27; Zech 9:5-7)

Aven is from a Hebrew word meaning vanity, and the “high places of Aven” is a term describing the centers of idolatry at Hosea 10:8.

The “house of Eden”, or “Beth Eden”, seems only to mean “house of pleasure” and in some commentaries it is considered to be an allegory. However there is a place in ancient Syria of which has one mention in the inscriptions which was called Bit Adini. It is mentioned in an inscription of Ashurnasirpal II, who ruled Assyria from 883 to 859 BC.

1:6  Thus saith Yahweh; For three transgressions (H6588- sins, rebellion, revolt) of Gaza, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they carried away captive the whole captivity, to deliver them up to Edom:

Slave trade. The Jews continue this practice today.

1:7  But I will send a fire on the wall of Gaza, which shall devour the palaces thereof:

1:8  And I will cut off the inhabitant from Ashdod, and him that holdeth the sceptre from Ashkelon, and I will turn Mine hand against Ekron: and the remnant of the Philistines shall perish, saith Yahweh GOD.   (Isa 14:29-31; Jer 47:1-7; Joel 3:4-8; Zeph 2:4-7; Zech 9:5-7)

Zephaniah 2:4  For Gaza shall be forsaken, and Ashkelon a desolation: they shall drive out Ashdod at the noon day, and Ekron shall be rooted up.

Ezekiel 25:16  Therefore thus saith Yahweh GOD; Behold, I will stretch out Mine hand upon the Philistines, and I will cut off the Cherethims, and destroy the remnant of the sea coast.

The Philistines also helped turn over Israel to the Edomites, so they were doomed as well.

1:9  Thus saith Yahweh; For three transgressions (H6588- sins, rebellion, revolt) of Tyrus, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they delivered up the whole captivity to Edom, and remembered not the brotherly covenant:

Isaiah 23:1  The burden of Tyre. Howl, you ships of Tarshish; for it is laid waste, so that there is no house, no entering in: from the land of Chittim it is revealed to them.

1:10  But I will send a fire (enemy troops) on the wall of Tyrus, which shall devour the palaces (fortresses) thereof.   (Eze 26:1-28:19; Joel 3:4-8; Zech 9:1-4; Matt 11:21-22)

Tyre is a city, not a nation. In Amos, we are at a point where the empire of David had become fractured.

Here the Tyrians are promised punishment “because they delivered up the whole captivity to Edom, and remembered not the brotherly covenant”. The Philistines, while not a part of the “brotherly covenant”, would nevertheless be punished for the identical charge.

1:11  Thus saith Yahweh; For three transgressions (H6588- sins, rebellion, revolt) of Edom, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he did pursue his brother with the sword, and did cast off all pity, and his anger did tear perpetually, and he kept his wrath for ever:

1:12  But I will send a fire upon Teman, which shall devour the palaces of Bozrah.   (Isa 34:5-17, 63:1-6; Jer 49:7-22; Eze 25:12-14, 35:1-15; Obadiah; Mal 1:2-5)

Teman was the name of a place in Edom, but it was also the name of one of the chief families of the Edomites (Genesis 36:11). Bozrah is modern Busaira, located in what is now southern Jordan. It was the capital city of ancient Edom (Genesis 36:31-33).

Isaiah 63:1-6 Here it may be evident that in Isaiah Bozrah is used prophetically as Jerusalem is used prophetically, to represent the capitals of the Edomites wherever they may happen to be. At the Advent of Christ here as it is described by Isaiah, Christ is depicted as having come from Bozrah with garments stained red with blood because His garments are stained red with the blood of the Edomites whom He has destroyed! This passage in Isaiah describes vengeance upon Edom, and not Salvation originating from Edom!

1:13  Thus saith Yahweh; For three transgressions (H6588- sins, rebellion, revolt) of the children of Ammon, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have ripped up the women with child of Gilead, that they might enlarge their border:

1:14  But I will kindle a fire in the wall of Rabbah, and it shall devour the palaces (fortresses) thereof, with shouting in the day of battle, with a tempest in the day of the whirlwind:

1:15  And their king shall go into captivity, he and his princes (officers) together, saith Yahweh.   (Eze 21:28-32; Zeph 2:8-11)

Amos 2:1  Thus saith Yahweh; For three transgressions (H6588- sins, rebellion, revolt) of Moab, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because he burned the bones of the king of Edom into lime:

2Kings 3:27  Then he (King of Moab) took his eldest son that should have reigned in his stead, and offered him for a burnt offering upon the wall. And there was great indignation against Israel: and they departed from him, and returned to their own land.

So did the Moabite King Mesha burn his own son in sacrifice? Or is it possible that the pronoun “his” in 2 Kings 3:27 refers to the king of Edom, and did he burn the son of the king of Edom, captured in battle, who would have been the king of Edom?  (2 Kings 3:21-27 Antiquities 9:38-43)

The pronoun is misunderstood in 2 Kings 3:27 and “his” refers instead to the king of Edom. Israel would indeed be grieved if such a thing happened to an ally.

Why would Israel grieve for the King of Edom? And why would Yahweh care for the king of Edom? Because the king of Edom at the time was an Israelite, and not an Edomite. This time in 2 Kings chapter 3 is still the time of Jehoshaphat, king of Judah, and under his rule Edom was subject to Judah. Therefore in 1 Kings 22: 47 we read “There was then no king in Edom, a deputy was king.” This appointed deputy sitting as king was the king of 2 Kings chapter 3, who joined under the kings of Judah and Israel to go to war with Moab. It is this appointed king, or his son, on behalf of whom Yahweh takes issue with Moab here in Amos.

2:2  But I will send a fire upon Moab, and it shall devour the palaces (fortresses) of Kerioth: and Moab shall die with tumult (crash of battle), with shouting, and with the sound of the trumpet:   (Jer 48:41)

Kerioth is where Judas Ishcarioth came from. Ishcarioth means man (ish) of Qeriyoth. Judas was a mix of Moabite and Edomite. A devil.

2:3  And I will cut off the judge from the midst thereof, and will slay all the princes thereof with him, saith Yahweh.   (Isa 15:1-16:14, 25:10-12; Jer 48:1-47; Eze 25:8-11; Zeph 2:8-11)

The next part of the prophecy of Amos contains oracles against Judah and Israel.

2:4  Thus saith Yahweh; For three transgressions (H6588- sins, rebellion, revolt) of Judah, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they have despised the law (torah) of Yahweh, and have not kept His commandments, and their lies caused them to err, after the which their (fore) fathers have walked:

Leviticus 26:14  But if you will not hearken unto Me, and will not do all these commandments;

2:5  But I will send a fire upon Judah, and it shall devour the palaces (fortresses) of Jerusalem.

We have an account of the beginnings of the fulfillment of this oracle against Judah at 2 Kings 18:13-16

Judah was primarily chastised here for having despised the law of Yahweh their God and not keeping His commandments. Scriptural evidence of this is found in 2 Chronicles, chapters 34 and 35, where the later reforms of the young king Josiah are described.

 2:6  Thus saith Yahweh; For three transgressions (H6588- sins, rebellion, revolt) of Israel, and for four, I will not turn away the punishment thereof; because they sold the righteous for silver, and the poor for a pair of shoes;

2:7  That pant after the dust of the earth (land) on the head of the poor, and turn aside the way of the meek: and a man and his father will go in unto the same maid, to profane My holy name:

2:8  And they lay themselves down upon clothes laid to pledge by every (pagan) altar, and they drink the wine of the condemned in the house of their god.

Paganism and worship of golden calves.

Amos 3:13  Hear you, and testify in the house of Jacob, saith Yahweh GOD, the God of hosts,

3:14  That in the day that I shall visit the transgressions (H6588- sins, rebellion, revolt) of Israel upon him I will also visit the (pagan) altars of Bethel: and the horns of the altar shall be cut off, and fall to the ground.   (2Ki 23:15)

Horns of the alter are referencing the powers of the false worshipers.

The next part of Amos' prophecy chastises the idolaters:

Amos 4:4  Come to Bethel, and transgress (H6586- rebel); at Gilgal multiply transgression (H6586- rebellion, revolting); and bring your sacrifices every morning, and your tithes after three years:

Bethel was the seat of idolatry of one of the two golden calves set up by Jeroboam I, the other being Dan. Gilgal was a center for the prophets, and often criticized by Hosea.

Hosea 9:15  All their wickedness is in Gilgal: for there I hated them: for the wickedness of their doings I will drive them out of mine house, I will love them no more: all their princes are revolters.

4:5  And offer a sacrifice of thanksgiving with leaven, and proclaim and publish the free offerings: for this liketh you (for you love this), O you children of Israel, saith Yahweh GOD.

Leviticus 7:13  Besides the cakes, he shall offer for his offering leavened bread with the sacrifice of thanksgiving of his peace offerings.

Leviticus 2:11 No grain offering, which you shall bring unto Yahweh, shall be made with leaven: for you shall burn no leaven, nor any honey, in any offering of Yahweh made by fire.” Leaven was forbidden in such offerings.

They are not to burn the bread. This is a mocking of their false worship.

Again the Septuagint reading is quite different: “And they read the law without [meaning publicly], and called for public professions: proclaim aloud that the children of Israel have loved these things, saith Yahweh.”

In the Masoretic Text (KJV), it seems the children of Israel publicly proclaimed the acts of their own idolatry, without shame. The Septuagint version seems to be saying that the law would be read publicly that the sin of the children of Israel would be openly confessed.

4:6  And I also have given you cleanness of teeth in all your cities, and want of bread in all your places: yet have you not returned unto Me, saith Yahweh.   (Is 26:11, Jer 5:3, Hag 2:17)

Cleanness of teeth is famine. Even in famine Israel does not call on Yahweh their God. Cleanness of teeth and want of bread refer to the same thing.

Amos 5:8  Seek Him (He) that maketh the seven stars (kiymah- Pleiades, a constellation of seven stars) and Orion (kesiyl- Orion the constellation), and turneth the shadow of death into the morning, and maketh the day dark with night: that calleth for the waters of the sea, and poureth them out upon the face of the earth (ground): Yahweh is His name:

Many people confuse God with Nature. Here we see that God is not merely Nature, but that He is indeed a being, a personality, which transcends Nature.

Orion is also mentioned in the Book of Job, along with others of the constellations, at Job 9:9 and 38:31.

5:9  That strengtheneth the spoiled against the strong, so that the spoiled shall come against the fortress.

5:10  They hate him that rebuketh in the gate, and they abhor him that speaketh uprightly (what is complete).

Isaiah 29:21  That make a man an offender for a word, and lay a snare for him that reproveth in the gate, and turn aside the just for a thing of nought.

They hate us for telling the truth, for proclaiming the Word.

Uprightly is from H8549 tamiym, meaning complete, whole, sound, entirely in accord with truth and fact.

5:11  Forasmuch therefore as your treading (trampling) is upon the poor, and you take from him burdens (gifts- as by unjust means) of wheat: you (the rich) have built houses of hewn stone, but you shall not dwell in them; you have planted pleasant vineyards, but you shall not drink wine of them.

5:12  For I know your manifold transgressions (H6588- rebellion, revolt, injustice) and your mighty sins: they afflict the just, they take a bribe, and they turn aside the poor in the gate from their right.

Trials were held and heard at the gate.

Micah 1:5  For the transgression (H6588- sins, rebellion, revolt) of Jacob is all this, and for the sins of the house of Israel. What is the transgression of Jacob? is it not Samaria? and what are the (pagan) high places of Judah? are they not Jerusalem?

Samaria by its very existence has become a sin to Israel, and Jerusalem has become a place of idolatry. In the opening chapters of his prophecy, which gives an oracle against Judah and Jerusalem, the prophet Isaiah had said that “Their land also is full of idols; they worship the work of their own hands, that which their own fingers have made” (Isaiah 2:8).

1:13  O you inhabitant of Lachish, bind the chariot to the swift beast: she (Lachish) is the beginning of the sin to the daughter of Zion: for the transgressions (H6588- sins, guilt, rebellion, revolt)(idols) of Israel were found in you.

The meaning of the word Lachish could not be identified by Strong, but newer lexicons say that it means impregnable or invincible.

The Septuagint rendering of the verse has in part, “she is the leader of sin”.

Proverbs 16:18  Pride goeth before destruction, and an haughty spirit before a fall.

Micah 3:8  (Micah speaking) But truly I am full of power by the spirit of Yahweh, and of judgment, and of might, to declare unto Jacob his transgression (H6588- sins, guilt, rebellion, revolt), and to Israel his sin.   (Is 58:1)

Here Micah asserts that his ministry is a legitimate prophetic ministry. It seems that Micah had the same sort of opposition which Amos also faced, from false prophets who attempted to silence him. The people simply did not want to hear of their own sin.

Micah 6:6  (Micah speaking) Wherewith shall I come before Yahweh, and bow myself before the high God? shall I come before Him with burnt offerings, with calves of a year old?

6:7  Will Yahweh be pleased with thousands of rams, or with ten thousands of rivers of oil? shall I give my firstborn for my transgression (H6588- sins, guilt, rebellion, revolt), the fruit of my body for the sin of my soul?

6:8  He hath shewed you, O man (adam), what is good; and what doth Yahweh require of you, but to do justly, and to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God?

Deuteronomy 10:12  And now, Israel, what doth Yahweh your God require of you, but to fear Yahweh your God, to walk in all His ways, and to love Him, and to serve Yahweh your God with all your heart and with all your soul,

The religious system of sacrifices as well as the legal system of Levites and judges were being corrupted and used for oppression rather than for justice.

Micah 7:18  Who is a God like unto You, that pardoneth iniquity, and passeth by the transgression (H6588- sins, guilt, injustice, rebellion, revolt) of the remnant of His heritage? He retaineth not His anger for ever, because He delighteth in mercy.

Mercy to those who repent and return to The Way.

Habakkuk 1:13  You art of purer eyes than to behold evil, and canst not look on iniquity (mischief, grievous afflictions): wherefore lookest You upon them that deal treacherously (H898- commit treachery, deceit), and holdest Your tongue when the wicked devoureth the man that is more righteous than he?

Habakkuk tells us in poetic language that Yahweh God is so pure and good that He should not have to look upon the sins of men. But while he has already plead for justice against the wicked, and that the nation not be entirely destroyed, here he further asks of Yahweh why He would permit whatever righteous people are left in Judah to suffer at the hands of the wicked, by which he means to describe the armies of the Chaldaeans.

Habakkuk 2:5  Yea also, because he transgresseth (H898- offends) by wine, he is a proud man, neither keepeth at home, who enlargeth his desire as hell (the grave), and is as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all people:

It must not be forgotten that in verse 11 of Habakkuk chapter 1 the first offense of the Chaldaeans was to impute their power to their own god, which is an idol, when their power had actually come from the God of Israel, as they were raised up only to be a scourge for Israel.

Here in verse 5 we have further reference to the injustice and pride of the Chaldaeans, and as they are successful in conquering nations that their thirst for conquest would not be satisfied. Therefore they are portrayed as having heaped unto themselves all nations and people

2:6  Shall not all these take up a parable against him (the wicked ones), and a taunting proverb against him, and say, Woe to him that increaseth that which is not his! how long? and to him that ladeth himself with thick clay!

It is the nations which the Chaldaeans had conquered who are being portrayed here as taking up this proverb, forecasting the fall of the Babylonians.

Zephaniah 3:11  In that day shalt you not be ashamed for all your doings (practices), wherein you hast transgressed (H6586- rebelled, revolted) against Me: for then I will take away out of the midst of you them that rejoice in your pride, and you shalt no more be haughty (proud, arrogant) because of My holy mountain (Kingdom of Israel).

The Septuagint: 'In that day you shalt not be ashamed of all your practices, wherein you hast transgressed against Me: for then will I take away from you your disdainful pride, and you shalt no more magnify yourself upon My holy mountain.'

This seems to reference the Jews. The reference brings us to Matthew 3:9.

Matthew 3:9  And think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham.

This seems to prophecy the Edomite infiltration into the priesthood, and the ministry of Christ.

The Jews claim Abraham as their father. They came from Esau, who was an Adamic man, but since he race mixed with Canaanites, his descendants are not pure bloods, therefore they are bastards. Deuteronomy 23:2  A bastard shall not enter into the congregation of Yahweh;

Only unmixed children of Jacob count for the blessings and promises.

Verse 11 may also be a reference to the Temple. They (Jews) were arrogant because they thought they were something because they had Yahweh's temple at the time.

The Levitical Isrealite priesthood had become infiltrated by the Edomite Jew priesthood.

Malachi 2:8  But you (Edom) are departed out of the way (apostasized); you (Jews) have caused many to stumble at the law; you have corrupted the covenant of Levi, saith Yahweh of hosts.

2:9  Therefore have I also made you contemptible and base before all the people, according as you have not kept My ways, but have been partial in the law.

These were the Edomite Jews that eventually took over the sect of the Pharisees. They distorted the laws of Moses into the 'traditions of men' (Judaism), and murdered Christ.

This also includes those Levites that strayed from Yahweh to follow Edom.

1Samuel 2:30  Wherefore Yahweh God of Israel saith, I said indeed that your house, and the house of your father, should walk before Me for ever: but now Yahweh saith, Be it far from Me; for them that honour Me I will honour, and they that despise Me shall be lightly esteemed.

2:10  Have we not all one father? hath not one God created us? why do we deal treacherously (H898- commit treachery) every man against his brother, by profaning the covenant of our (fore) fathers?

These are the liberal Israelite priests speaking for Edom. Esau was Isaac's son too. But since Esau despised his race and birthright and he race mixed with Canaanites, his seed is not acceptable. That is why Yahweh chose Jacob and his seed. The children of Israel (us).

2:11  Judah hath dealt treacherously (H898- committed treachery), and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah hath profaned the holiness of Yahweh which He loved, and hath married the daughter of a strange god  (racial alien god, a foreign god of the land).

Ezra 9:1-2

1  Now when these things were done, the princes came to me, saying, The people of Israel, and the priests, and the Levites, have not separated themselves from the people of the lands, doing according to their abominations, even of the Canaanites, the Hittites, the Perizzites, the Jebusites, the Ammonites, the Moabites, the Egyptians, and the Amorites.

2  For they have taken of their daughters for themselves, and for their sons: so that the holy seed have mingled themselves with the people of those lands: yea, the hand of the princes and rulers hath been chief in this trespass.

Nehemiah 13:23  In those days also saw I Judahites that had married wives of Ashdod, of Ammon, and of Moab:

Yahweh forbids race mixing. The “churches” allow it.

2:12  Yahweh will cut off the man that doeth this, the master and the scholar, out of the tabernacles of Jacob, and him that offereth an offering unto Yahweh of hosts.

2:13  And this have you done again, covering the altar of Yahweh with tears, with weeping, and with crying out, insomuch that he regardeth not the offering any more, or receiveth it with good will at your hand.

Judah repeated the accusation made in verse 11.

The man Judah race mixed with a Canaanite and had 3 sons, 2 of which Yahweh slayed.

The House of Judah (the tribes of Judah, Benjamin and Levi) race mixed with Canaanites, Edomites, and strangers of the surrounding regions.

2:14  Yet you say, Wherefore? Because Yahweh hath been witness between you and the wife of your youth, against whom you hast dealt treacherously (H898- committed treachery, unfaithfulness): yet is she your companion, and the wife of your covenant.

Proverbs 5:15-18

15  Drink waters out of your own cistern, and running waters out of your own well.

16  Let your fountains be dispersed abroad, and rivers of waters in the streets.

17  Let them be only your own, and not strangers' with you.

18  Let your fountain be blessed: and rejoice with the wife of your youth.

Proverbs 2:16-17

16  To deliver you from the strange woman, even from the stranger which flattereth with her words;

17  Which forsaketh the guide of her youth, and forgetteth the covenant of her God.

Yahweh forbids race mixing.

2:15  And did not He make one? Yet had he the residue of the spirit. And wherefore one? That He (Yahweh) might seek a godly seed. Therefore take heed to your spirit, and let none deal treacherously (H898- commit treachery, unfaithfulness) against the wife of his youth.

2:16  For Yahweh, the God of Israel, saith that He hateth putting away (divorce): for one covereth violence with his garment, saith Yahweh of hosts: therefore take heed to your spirit, that you deal not treacherously (H898- commit treachery, unfaithfulness).   (Matt 5:31-32, 19:4-9)

Yahweh hates divorce.

So we have seen in the Old Testament verses that TRANSGRESSION is Rebellion. It has a willful aspect. It is a passing beyond the bounds of the law.

Rebellion in verb form is acting treacherously, deceitfully, faithlessly, unfaithfully, to commit, to offend.

Rebellion in noun form is being unfaithful, treacherous, deceitful, unfaithful. In rebellion, in revolt, a sinner, a trespasser, guilty.

All the above is a transgression, or rebellion, against God. Transgression is also a sin against an individual and a nation.

Now let's examine the New Testament.

Matthew 5:17  Think not that I am come to destroy the law, or the prophets: I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil.

The “churches” teach that the law was “done away with”.  The only thing that was “done away with” were the Levitical rituals. Christ fulfilled them.

5:18  For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass (G3928- perish), one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass (G3928- perish) from the law, till all be fulfilled.

5:19  Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

5:20  For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven.

Matthew 7:21  Not every one that saith unto Me, Prince, Prince, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of My Father which is in heaven.

Hosea 8:2  Israel shall cry unto Me, My God, we know You.

7:22  Many will say to Me in that day, Prince, Prince, have we not prophesied in Your name? and in Your name have cast out devils? and in Your name done many wonderful works?

7:23  And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from Me, ye that work iniquity (G458- illegality, wickedness, unrighteousness, transgress, violate the law).

If you do not follow His commandments you are violating His law. You are in rebellion.

Matthew 13:41  The Son of man shall send forth His angels, and they shall gather out of His kingdom all things that offend, and them which do iniquity (G458- violate the law);

13:42  And shall cast them into a furnace of fire: there shall be wailing and gnashing of teeth.

13:43  Then shall the righteous shine forth as the sun in the kingdom of their Father. Who hath ears to hear, let him hear.

Note: The wicked are gathered out of His kingdom and the righteous shine forth. The righteous are not taken away in some 'rapture'. Thy Kingdom Come, On Earth as in Heaven.

Matthew 15:1  Then came to Jesus scribes and Pharisees, which were of Jerusalem, saying,

15:2  Why do Your disciples transgress (G3845- neglect, violate, turn aside from) the tradition of the elders? for they wash not their hands when they eat bread.

15:3  But He answered and said unto them, Why do ye also transgress (G3845- neglect, violate, turn aside from, go contrary to) the commandment of God by your tradition?

Note: The 'traditions of the elders' is Judaism, the religion of the Jews. The Jew Pharisees were asking why Christ's disciples were violating the Jew's decrees. Christ responded by asking them why they neglect and go contrary to God's commandment on account of their own 'traditions'!

Matthew 23:27  Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.

23:28  Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity (G458- illegality, wickedness, unrighteousness, without law).

From verse 1-36 Christ was exhorting the scribes and Pharisees, who were Edomite Jew infiltrators that sat in authority in Judaea. Moses' seat.

Christ will avenge all the righteous blood they shed, and utter destruction will come upon that serpent race.

Matthew 24:11  And many false prophets shall rise, and shall deceive many.

Acts 20:29  For I know this, that after my departing shall grievous wolves enter in among you, not sparing the flock.

2Peter 2:1  But there were false prophets also among the people, even as there shall be false teachers among you, who privily shall bring in damnable heresies, even denying the Prince that bought them, and bring upon themselves swift destruction.

1Timothy 4:1  Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;

These devils by their subtle works have the “churches” today deceived into teaching their doctrine.

24:12  And because iniquity (G458- illegality, wickedness, unrighteousness, the condition of without law) shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold.

24:13  But he that shall endure unto the end, the same shall be saved (preserved).

24:34  Verily I say unto you, This generation (race) shall not pass (G3928- perish), till all these things be fulfilled.

24:35  Heaven and earth shall pass away (G3928- perish), but my words shall not pass away (G3928- perish).

Psalm 102:26  They shall perish, but you shalt endure: yea, all of them shall wax old like a garment; as a vesture (clothing) shalt you change them, and they shall be changed:

We will be changed into our new clothing. Our Shekinah glory.

1Corinthians 15:53  For this corruptible must put on incorruption, and this mortal must put on immortality.

Isaiah 51:6  Lift up your eyes to the heavens, and look upon the earth beneath: for the heavens shall vanish away like smoke, and the earth shall wax old like a garment, and they that dwell therein shall die in like manner: but my salvation shall be for ever, and my righteousness shall not be abolished.

24:36  But of that day and hour knoweth no man, no, not the angels of heaven, but My Father only.

24:37  But as the days of Noah were, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

24:38  For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noah entered into the ark,  (Gen 6:3-5)

24:39  And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

As scripture reveals, and Christ states, the evil is taken away while the righteous remain. But the “churches” like to teach everything backwards. There is no “rapture”.

Mark 15:28  And the scripture was fulfilled, which saith, And He was numbered with the transgressors (G459- lawless, wicked, violators of the law).

Isaiah 53:12  Therefore will I divide Him a portion with the great, and He shall divide the spoil with the strong; because He hath poured out His soul unto death: and He was numbered with the transgressors; and He bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

Luke 11:42  But woe unto you, Pharisees! for ye tithe mint and rue and all manner of herbs, and pass over (G3928- neglect, transgress, go past, go beyond, contrary to) judgment and the love of God: these ought ye to have done, and not to leave the other undone.

Luke 15:25  Now his elder son was in the field: and as he came and drew nigh to the house, he heard musick and dancing.

15:26  And he called one of the servants, and asked what these things meant.

15:27  And he said unto him, Thy brother is come; and thy father hath killed the fatted calf (sacrificed), because he hath received him safe and sound.

15:28  And he was angry, and would not go in: therefore came his father out, and intreated him.

15:29  And he answering said to his father, Lo, these many years do I serve thee, neither transgressed (G3928- went contrary to you) I at any time thy commandment: and yet thou never gavest me a kid, that I might make merry with my friends:

15:30  But as soon as this thy son was come, which hath devoured thy living with harlots, thou hast killed for him the fatted calf.

15:31  And he said unto him, Son, thou art ever with me, and all that I have is thine.

15:32  It was meet that we should make merry, and be glad: for this thy brother was dead, and is alive again; and was lost, and is found.

Not only was the elder son envious and self-righteous, but even worse, he was envious of his own brother, to the point of despising him and even referring to him as “that son of yours” before his father. Christians should never despise their brethren, no matter how well the brethren are rewarded and even if it is perceived that they do not deserve any reward.

Christians should never despise their brethren, no matter how great sinners they are, so long

as they are willing to repent. We must not violate the 2nd Great Commandment.

Acts 1:23  And they appointed two, Joseph called Barsabas, who was surnamed Justus, and Matthias.

1:24  And they prayed, and said, You, Prince, which knowest the hearts of all men, shew whether of these two You hast chosen,

1:25  That he may take part of this ministry and apostleship, from which Judas by transgression fell (G3845- abandoned, departed, turned aside from), that he might go to his own place.

1:26  And they gave forth their lots; and the lot fell upon Matthias; and he was numbered with the eleven apostles.

Acts 2:22  Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved (appointed for you) of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by Him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:

2:23  Him, being delivered by the determinate counsel and foreknowledge of God, ye have taken, and by wicked (G459- destitue of the Mosaic law, lawless) hands have crucified and slain:  (Matt 26:24, Luke 22:22)

The very kinsmen of Christ that were influenced by the ruling Jewish religious sects of the scribes, Sadducees and Pharisees, participated in His death.

2:24  Whom God hath raised up, having loosed the pains of death: because it was not possible that He should be holden of it.

Romans 2:23  You that makest your boast of the law, through breaking (G3847- a breach, violating, going over, disregarding) the law dishonourest you God?

2:24  For the name of God is blasphemed among the Nations through you, as it is written.

Isaiah 52:5  Now therefore, what have I here, saith Yahweh, that My people is taken away for nought? they that rule over them make them to howl, saith Yahweh; and My name continually every day is blasphemed.

If you are going to talk the talk, then walk the walk.

Teaching that Jesus is a Jew is blasphemy, calling God and Christ 'Lord' is blasphemy. Race mixing is blasphemy. Blasphemy is serious business, you better get educated.

2:25  For circumcision verily profiteth, if thou keep the law: but if thou be a breaker (G3848- disregarder, violator) of the law, thy circumcision is made uncircumcision.

You can't just go through the motion of the law.

Galatians 5:3  For I testify again to every man that is circumcised, that he is a debtor to do the whole law.

2:26  Therefore if the uncircumcision keep the righteousness of the law, shall not his uncircumcision be counted for circumcision?

2:27  And shall not uncircumcision which is by nature, if it fulfil the law, judge thee, who by the letter and circumcision dost transgress (G3848- breach, disregard, violate) the law?

One who follows the law by nature shall judge those who have the law and transgress.

Romans 4:7  Saying, Blessed are they whose iniquities (G458- violations of the law) are forgiven (at the cross), and whose sins are covered.

4:15  Because the law worketh wrath (punishment): for where no law is, there is no transgression (G3847- breach, violation).

Romans 5:12  Wherefore, as by one man (Adam) sin entered into the world (society), and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:

5:13  (For until the law sin was in the world (society): but sin is not imputed when there is no law.

5:14  Nevertheless death reigned from Adam to Moses, even over them that had not sinned after the similitude of Adam's transgression (G3847- breach, disregard, violation), who is the figure of Him that was to come.

1Corinthians 15:21  For since by man (Adam) came death, by man (Christ) came also the resurrection of the dead.

Christ was perfect. He did not transgress, go beyond, disregard, breach or violate ANY of God's commandments. Christ is our example.

1Corinthians 9:19  For though I be free from all men, yet have I made myself servant unto all, that I might gain the more. (spiritual gain)

Paul had no choice but to take on this honor of 'management of the family' once he was given his purpose on the road to Damascus. Once he saw truth, there was no looking back.

 9:20  And unto the Judaeans I became as a Judaean, that I might gain the Judaeans; to them that are under the law, as under the law, that I might gain them that are under the law;

Paul was able to relate to them by being able to speak Hebrew.

9:21  To them that are without law (G459- destitute of the Mosaic law), as without law (G459- destitute of the Mosaic law), (being not without law (G459- a violator) to God, but under the law to Christ,) that I might gain them that are without law (G459- destitute of the Mosaic law).

Romans 2:12  For as many as have sinned without law (G460- ignorance) shall also perish without law (G460- law and discipline): and as many as have sinned in the law (G3551- Mosaic law) shall be judged by the law (G3551- Mosaic law);

The Judaeans had the law, the dispersed did not, or forgot it.

The Israelites in Judaea that returned after the Babylonian captivity had and kept the law. The Israelites that did not return after captivity settled elsewhere in the Greco-Roman world and into Europe and had forgotten their heritage and law and God. Hence, 'lost' sheep.

2Corinthians 6:14  Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness (G458- wickedness, the condition of without law)? and what communion hath light with darkness?

Works of the law is not the 10 commandments. They are ordinances. They are referring to the sacrificial rituals. Before Christ died, the Israelite priesthood performed sacrifice for the atonement of sin. When Christ died, He was the last sacrifice, and became the reigning high priest. These rituals were to cease. Many Israelites did not understand this and wanted to continue the rituals. The Judaizers were agitating the people and saying that Paul was doing away with the law (rituals) and these people were upset about it. See Acts 21:18-26

The rituals themselves cannot justify. They were just a schoolmaster for us to learn from.

The allegiance with our Prince is our salvation (preservation).

The Pharisees wanted to keep the rituals because they could control the people.

Notice in verse 16  it reads 'faith of Christ', twice. We are not “saved” because we believe in a man named Jesus (Yahshua). We are preserved in this life because we believe AND follow in the faith OF Christ. What is the faith of Christ? Faith means allegiance, loyalty, copying the example of. Christ has the allegiance to Yahweh. He obeyed and followed the plan of God. If we believe in the faith of Christ, then we must emulate His example. “Just believing” is not enough.

Galatians 2:18  For if I build again the things which I destroyed, I make myself a transgressor (G3848- violator, contrary).

The written law of Moses was given 430 years after the promises were given to Abraham.

Romans 4:13  For the promise, that he should be the heir of the world, was not to Abraham, or to his seed, through the law, but through the righteousness of faith (allegiance).

Galatians 3:18  For if the inheritance be of the law, it is no more of promise: but God gave it to Abraham by promise.

The covenant (promise) has nothing to do with the law. Our free gift of salvation is because of the promise, but we can be 'blotted out' if we do not practice and strive for the faith OF Christ.

3:19  Wherefore then serveth the law? It was added because of transgressions (G3847- sins), till the seed (offspring) should come to whom the promise was made; and it was ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.

Yahweh promised Himself to the children of Israel. In the form of Jesus.

John 15:22  If I had not come and spoken unto them, they would have no error: but now they have no excuse concerning their errors.

3:20  Now a mediator is not a mediator of one, but God is one.

Romans 3:29  Is He the God of the Judaeans (circumcised) only? is He not also of the Gentiles (dispersed Nations, uncircumcised)? Yes, of the Gentiles (dispersed Nations) also:

Yahweh is the God of both Houses of Israel. Israel and Judah.

People would know this if the “churches” taught the history of our people, which is in the OT. And it's not about the Jews! The Jews are children of Cain and of Esau. Devils!

The inheritance promised to us is from the promise made to Abraham. The law came later to keep us in line. From Thayer's: It was added to create transgressions, i.e. that sins might take on the character of transgressions, and thereby the consciousness of sin be intensified and the desire for redemption be aroused.

2Thessalonians 2:7  For the mystery of iniquity (H458- lawlessness, unrighteousness) doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way.

7  For the mystery of lawlessness is already operating, he (man of sin) prevailing only presently until he should be out of the way,

2:8  And then shall that Wicked (G459- the lawless) be revealed, whom the Prince shall consume with the spirit of His mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of His coming: (Dan 7:10)

Isaiah 11:4  But with righteousness shall He judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and He shall smite the earth with the rod of His mouth, and with the breath of His lips shall He slay the wicked.

2:9  Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders (falsehoods),

2:10  And with all deceivableness (delusion) of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved (preserved).

2:11  And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie:

People love their “church”. It's what they've always done, it's comfortable. They believe every word out of their preachers mouth. Jesus is a Jew, you are a “Gentile”, “just believe” wait for the “rapture”, that you choose to be “saved”. Homos and mixed couples are tolerated.

People, the 'leaven' of the Pharisees has risen so high that the 'truth' has been covered with apostasy.

Romans 1:24  Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:

1Timothy 4:1  Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith (allegiance), giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils (Judaism);

2:12  That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Romans 1:32  Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.

A strong delusion is the doctrine that today's “churches” teach. If you are not examining what you are learning, you might be in for a rude awakening.

1Timothy 1:8  But we know that the law is good, if a man use it lawfully;  (Rom 7:12)

1:9  Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless (G459- wicked, the violator of the law) and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers,

But the “churches” teach that the law was “done away with”. Well 30 years after the crucifixion, the scriptures are still enforcing the law.  The sacrificial rituals were 'done away with'.

 1:10  For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind (Homos), for menstealers (kidnappers), for liars, for perjured persons (falsely swearing, oath), and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;

1:11  According to the glorious gospel of the blessed God, which was committed to my trust.

It was Paul's job to bring the message of the word to the dispersed tribes of Israel that lost and/or forgot who they were, the seed of Abraham. The other apostles taught the Israelites of the house of Judah, which had the law, and did not realize that the house of Israel (the dispersed) were their brethren.

1Timothy 2:14  And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression (G3847- breach, disregard of the command of Yahweh).

The Greek has the ending as “...the woman being deceived when the transgression occurred.”

Eve was beguiled by the Devil when the transgression (sex) occurred.

Adam chose to accept Eve after she had fallen, and in doing so Adam also transgressed.

Titus 2:11  For the grace (favor) of God that bringeth salvation (preservation) hath appeared to all men,

 2:12  Teaching us that, denying ungodliness and worldly lusts, we should live soberly, righteously, and godly, in this present world;

12  Teaching us that, rejecting impiety and the lusts of this Society, discreetly and righteously and piously we should live in this present age.

1Peter 4:2  That he no longer should live the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men, but to the will of God.

“Just believing” is not good enough, we must act and do and be and have righteousness.

We must rebuke and reject unrighteousness. Why do the “churches” teach tolerance? Because they don't know scripture.

 2:13  Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Yahshua Christ;

2:14  Who gave Himself for us, that He might redeem us from all iniquity (G458- violation of the law), and purify unto Himself a peculiar people, zealous of good works.  (Gal 1:4)

'Peculiar' means 'one's own', special, beyond.  Belonging to a nation, system or other thing, and not to others.  Exclusive property; that which belongs to a person in exclusion of others.

If God loves everybody, and we are all of the race of Adam, how can their be another group of peculiar people? The “churches” keep teaching the lies that they were deceived by over and over. We are not all of Adam, nor does God love everybody.

Exodus 19:5  Now therefore, if ye (children of Israel) will obey My voice indeed, and keep My covenant, then ye shall be a peculiar treasure unto Me above all people: for all the earth is Mine:

Deuteronomy 14:2  For you art an holy (appointed) people unto Yahweh your God, and Yahweh hath chosen you (12 tribes of Jacob) to be a peculiar people unto Himself, above all the nations that are upon the earth.

Deuteronomy 26:18  And Yahweh hath avouched you (sons of Jacob) this day to be His peculiar people, as He hath promised you, and that you shouldest keep all His commandments;

Psalm 135:4  For Yahweh hath chosen Jacob unto Himself, and Israel for His peculiar treasure.

Matthew 15:24  But He answered and said, I am not sent but unto the lost sheep of the house of Israel.

Hebrews 1:9  You (Christ) hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity (G458- wickedness, unrighteousness, transgression, violation of the law); therefore God, even Your God, hath anointed You with the oil of gladness above Your fellows.

Verses 2-3 from the Greek:

Hebrews 2:2  If the word spoken was confirmed by messengers, and every transgression (G3847- breach, violation) and disobedience receives a legitimate recompense,

2:3  how shall we escape, neglecting so great a salvation? Which having been received at the beginning, being spoken through the Prince, by those hearing is confirmed to us,

Hebrews 10:28  He that despised Moses' law died without mercy under two or three witnesses:

Matthew 4:17  From that time Jesus began to preach, and to say, Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

We will be punished for every transgression. We better repent and obey.

2:4  God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers (various)  miracles, and gifts of the Holy Spirit, according to his own will?

Verse 4 should not be a question.

4  Yahweh joining in testimony with both signs and wonders and various works of power, and apportionments of Holy Spirit in accordance with His will. (Mark 16:20, Acts 2:22)

Hebrews 8:10  For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith Yahweh; I will put My laws into their mind, and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to Me a people:  (Jer 31:33)

The context is still and always is the children of Israel.  Then and now. The same and only people.

8:11  And they shall not teach every man his neighbour, and every man his brother, saying, Know

Yahweh: for all shall know Me, from the least to the greatest.

Isaiah 54:13  And all your children shall be taught of Yahweh; and great shall be the peace of your children.

John 6:45  It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto Me.

8:12  For I will be merciful to their unrighteousness, and their sins and their iniquities (G458- violation of the law, transgressions, unrighteousness) will I remember no more.

Hebrews 9:14  How much more shall the blood of Christ, who through the eternal Spirit offered Himself without spot to God, purge your conscience from dead works (the rituals) to serve the living God?

Dead works. Christ was the fulfillment of the rituals, they were not needed anymore.

1John 1:7  But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ His Son cleanseth us from all sin.

When we imitate what He represents, His example, we have fellowship with Him, when we stray and fall away, we do not have fellowship with Him.

Why do the “churches” teach “once saved, always saved”? It's not a one and done thing. But an ongoing thing. Saved means preserved. Fellowship is preservation.

9:15  And for this cause He is the mediator of the new testament (covenant), that by means of death, for the redemption of the transgressions (G3847- breach, violation disregard of the Mosaic law) that were under the first testament, they which are called might receive the promise of eternal inheritance.

This verse proves that those of the first covenant are fulfilled by the second. The 'those' are the children of Israel, the 'called',  then and now. The Greek reads better.

15  And for this reason He is a mediator of the new covenant, so that from death resulting in redemption of the transgressions (violations) against the first covenant, those having been called would receive the promise of the eternal inheritance.

Only Abraham's seed was promised these things. In Isaac's seed shall your be called. (Gen 21:12)

Hebrews 10:16  This is the covenant that I will make with them (the 12 tribes) after those days, saith Yahweh, I will put My laws into their hearts, and in their minds will I write them;

10:17  And their sins and iniquities (G458- unrighteousness, violations of the law) will I remember no more.

10:18  Now where remission of these (sin) is, there is no more offering for sin.

We do not need to perform ritual offerings anymore, walking in His example is what He desires. Striving for righteousness.

James 2:8  If ye fulfil the royal law according to the scripture, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself, ye do well:

Leviticus 19:18  Thou shalt not avenge, nor bear any grudge against the children of thy people, but thou shalt love thy neighbour (kin) as thyself: I am Yahweh.

2:9  But if ye have respect to persons, ye commit sin, and are convinced (convicted) of the law as transgressors (G3848- a lawbreaker, violator).

2:10  For whosoever shall keep the whole law, and yet offend in one point, he is guilty (liable) of all.

Deuteronomy 27:26  Cursed be he that confirmeth not all the words of this law to do them. And all the people shall say, Amen.

Matthew 5:19  Whosoever therefore shall break one of these least commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven: but whosoever shall do and teach them, the same shall be called great in the kingdom of heaven.

When you aren't following one law, you are disrespecting them all.

2:11  For He that said, Do not commit adultery, said also, Do not kill. Now if thou commit no adultery, yet if thou kill, thou art become a transgressor (G3848- breaker, violator) of the law.

2Peter 2:6  And turning the cities of Sodom and Gomorrha into ashes condemned them with an overthrow, making them an example unto those that after should live ungodly;

2:7  And delivered just Lot, vexed with the filthy conversation (conduct) of the wicked:

2:8  (For that righteous man dwelling among them, in seeing and hearing, vexed (tormented) his righteous soul from day to day with their unlawful (G459- wicked) deeds;) (destitute of the Mosaic law)

2:9  The Prince knoweth how to deliver the godly (righteous) out of temptations (trials), and to reserve the unjust unto the day of judgment to be punished:

Psalm 34:17  The righteous cry, and Yahweh heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.

2:10  But chiefly them that walk after the flesh in the lust of uncleanness, and despise government (authority). Presumptuous are they, selfwilled, they are not afraid to speak evil of dignities (blaspheming).

1John 3:4  Whosoever committeth sin transgresseth (G458- violates) also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law (G458- condition of without law).

4  Each who is practicing wrongdoing also practices lawlessness, and wrongdoing is lawlessness.

Verse 4 is another mistranslation of the word for 'practice'.

This is not talking about the everyday sinner, for we all commit sin everyday. It is speaking about those who actively 'practice' wrongdoing and lawlessness.

2John 1:9  Whosoever transgresseth (G3845- oversteps, neglects, violates, goes contrary to, turns aside from), and abideth not in the doctrine of Christ, hath not God. He that abideth in the doctrine of Christ, he hath both the Father and the Son.

“Just believing” in the doctrine of Christ get's you nothing. You must 'practice' His doctrine, know His name, keep the Shabbaths and feast days, study, seek first the Kingdom of God, abide in The Way.

The New Testament verses also reveal TRANSGRESSIONS as Rebellion.

Transgression in the NT includes illegality, lawlessness, wickedness, unrighteousness, turning aside, departing from, going contrary to, neglecting, violating and departing from the law. Destitute of the Mosaic law, disregarding and breaching the Mosaic law. Transgression is the condition of 'without law'.

This study, simply put, shows that TRANSGRESSION is Rebellion.
