SICKNESS VS HEALTH Miracles of Yahshua
We are to build a Kingdom. And with healthy people.
The message and health go hand in hand.
When we get sick or have troubles and calamity, it is time to examine ourselves.
Yahweh promises us health, protection and strength when we obey and walk in His Ways.
This health and sickness thing is literal cause and effect.
Deuteronomy 7:11 You shalt therefore keep the commandments, and the statutes, and the judgments, which I command you this day, to do them.
7:12 Wherefore it shall come to pass, if ye hearken to these judgments, and keep, and do them, that Yahweh your God shall keep unto you the covenant and the mercy which He sware unto your fathers:
7:13 And He will love you, and bless you, and multiply you: He will also bless the fruit of your womb, and the fruit of your land, your grain, and your wine, and your oil, the increase of your kine, and the flocks of your sheep, in the land which He sware unto your fathers to give you.
7:14 You shalt be blessed above all people: there shall not be male or female barren among you, or among your cattle.
7:15 And Yahweh will take away from you all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which you knowest, upon you; but will lay them upon all them that hate you.
Deuteronomy 28:15 But it shall come to pass, if you wilt not hearken unto the voice of Yahweh your God, to observe to do all His commandments and His statutes which I command you this day; that all these curses shall come upon you, and overtake you:
Verses 16-34 and 36-44 are a whole list of bad things that will come upon you when you do not follow and practice Christ's example. Such as sicknesses, pestilence, fever, inflammation, mildew, smitten before your enemies, scabs, itch, unfaithful spouse, property stolen, and worse.
28:35 Yahweh shall smite you in the knees, and in the legs, with a sore botch that cannot be healed, from the sole of your foot unto the top of your head.
28:45 Moreover all these curses shall come upon you, and shall pursue you, and overtake you, till you be destroyed; because you hearkenedst not unto the voice of Yahweh your God, to keep His commandments and His statutes which He commanded you:
28:46 And they shall be upon you for a sign and for a wonder, and upon your seed for ever.
When we stray from Yahweh, we lose His protection, we lose favor.
Our duty and test in this mortal life is to follow Yahweh's commandments and live the example
Christ showed us. Partake with as little of society and the world as possible and live a righteous life building the kingdom and proclaiming His authority and Word. In doing this, we will be blessed with health.
Deuteronomy 28:58 If you wilt not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that you mayest fear this glorious and fearful name, Yahweh your GOD;
28:59 Then Yahweh will make your plagues wonderful, and the plagues of your seed, even great plagues, and of long continuance, and sore sicknesses, and of long continuance.
28:60 Moreover He will bring upon you all the diseases of Egypt, which you wast afraid of; and they shall cleave unto you.
28:61 Also every sickness, and every plague, which is not written in the book of this law, them will Yahweh bring upon you, until you be destroyed.
28:62 And ye shall be left few in number, whereas ye were as the stars of the sky for multitude; because you wouldest not obey the voice of Yahweh your God.
Yahweh and Yahshua are referred to as our healers.
Exodus 15:26 And said, If you wilt diligently hearken to the voice of Yahweh your God, and wilt do that which is right in His sight, and wilt give ear to His commandments, and keep all His statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon you, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am Yahweh that healeth you.
Listen, do right, and obey and He will heal you.
Exodus 23:25 And ye shall serve Yahweh your God, and He shall bless your bread, and your water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of you.
2Kings 20:1 In those days was Hezekiah sick unto death. And the prophet Isaiah the son of Amoz came to him, and said unto him, Thus saith Yahweh, Set your house in order; for you shalt die, and not live.
20:2 Then he turned his face to the wall, and prayed unto Yahweh, saying,
20:3 I beseech thee, O Yahweh, remember now how I have walked before You in truth and with a perfect heart, and have done that which is good in Your sight. And Hezekiah wept sore.
20:4 And it came to pass, afore Isaiah was gone out into the middle court, that the word of Yahweh came to him, saying,
20:5 Turn again, and tell Hezekiah the captain of My people, Thus saith Yahweh, the God of David your father, I have heard your prayer, I have seen your tears: behold, I will heal you: on the third day you shalt go up unto the house of Yahweh.
20:6 And I will add unto thy days fifteen years; and I will deliver you and this city out of the hand of the king of Assyria; and I will defend this city for Mine own sake, and for My servant David's sake.
20:7 And Isaiah said, Take a lump of figs. And they took and laid it on the boil, and he recovered.
20:8 And Hezekiah said unto Isaiah, What shall be the sign that Yahweh will heal me, and that I shall go up into the house of Yahweh the third day?
2Chronicles 32:24 In those days Hezekiah was sick to the death, and prayed unto Yahweh: and he spake unto Him, and He gave him a sign.
2Kings 20:9 And Isaiah said, This sign shalt you have of Yahweh, that Yahweh will do the thing that He hath spoken: shall the shadow go forward ten degrees, or go back ten degrees?
20:10 And Hezekiah answered, It is a light thing for the shadow to go down ten degrees: nay, but let the shadow return backward ten degrees.
20:11 And Isaiah the prophet cried unto Yahweh: and He brought the shadow ten degrees backward, by which it had gone down in the dial of Ahaz.
2Chronicles 32:26 Notwithstanding Hezekiah humbled himself for the pride of his heart, both he and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the wrath of Yahweh came not upon them in the days of Hezekiah.
Hezekiah was sick unto death, because he had strayed from Yahweh, but with repentance and prayer and conformity to His Ways, He heals Hezekiah and gives him 15 more years. And spares Jerusalem from the Assyrians.
2Chronicles 21:12 And there came a writing to him (Jehoram) from Elijah the prophet, saying, Thus saith Yahweh God of David thy father, Because you hast not walked in the ways of Jehoshaphat your father, nor in the ways of Asa king of Judah,
21:13 But hast walked in the way of the kings of Israel, and hast made Judah and the inhabitants of Jerusalem to go a whoring, like to the whoredoms of the house of Ahab, and also hast slain your brethren of your father's house, which were better than yourself:
21:14 Behold, with a great plague will Yahweh smite your people, and your children, and your wives, and all your goods:
21:15 And you shalt have great sickness by disease of thy bowels, until thy bowels fall out by reason of the sickness day by day.
Walking in unrighteous ways will bring sickness and destruction.
21:18 And after all this Yahweh smote him in his bowels with an incurable disease.
21:19 And it came to pass, that in process of time, after the end of two years, his bowels fell out by reason of his sickness: so he died of sore diseases. And his people made no burning for him, like the burning of his fathers.
2Chronicles 6:28 If there be dearth in the land, if there be pestilence, if there be blasting, or mildew, locusts, or caterpillers; if their enemies besiege them in the cities of their land; whatsoever sore or whatsoever sickness there be:
6:29 Then what prayer or what supplication soever shall be made of any man, or of all your people Israel, when every one shall know his own sore and his own grief, and shall spread forth his hands in this house:
6:30 Then hear You from heaven Your dwelling place, and forgive, and render unto every man according unto all his ways, whose heart You knowest; (for You only knowest the hearts of the children of men:)
2Chronicles 7:14 If My people, which are called by My name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek My face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.
Job (Septuagint) 18:14 And let health be utterly banished from his (the wicked's) tabernacle, and let distress seize upon him with a charge from the king.
Psalm 23:3 He restoreth my soul: He leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.
Soul can be easily understood as person, every soul is a person.
Every person who is an ancestor of Adam is a child of Yahweh's. Yahweh leads His people in the path's of righteousness and restores them to their true person. This would not be a sick person. Walking in paths of righteousness = health and restoration.
Psalm 30:2 O Yahweh my God, I cried unto You, and You hast healed me.
Psalm 41:4 I said, Yahweh, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against You.
Psalm 42:11 Why are you cast down, O my soul? and why are you disquieted (tumultuous) within me? hope you in God: for I shall yet praise Him, who is the health of my countenance, and my God.
Psalm 51:12 Restore unto me the joy of Your salvation; and uphold me with Your free spirit.
The Septuagint reads: “...establish me with Your directing Spirit.”
The Hebrew reads: “uphold me with Your spirit of dignity.”
Salvation means preservation, and sometimes prosperity. These would be healthy things.
Psalm 67:1 God be merciful unto us, and bless us; and cause His face to shine upon us; Selah.
67:2 That Your Way may be known upon earth, Your saving health among all nations.
His Way = Health.
Proverbs 3:7 Be not wise in your own eyes: fear (revere) Yahweh, and depart from evil.
3:8 It shall be health to your navel, and marrow to your bones.
Proverbs 3:5 Trust in Yahweh with all your heart; and lean not unto your own understanding.
3:6 In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.
3:7 Be not wise in your own eyes: fear Yahweh, and depart from evil.
3:8 It shall be health to your navel, and marrow to your bones.
3:9 Honour Yahweh with your substance, and with the firstfruits of all your increase:
3:10 So shall your barns be filled with plenty, and your presses shall burst out with new wine.
Living His Way not only keeps you healthy, but your substance increases.

4:22 For they are life unto those that find them, and health to all their flesh.
4:23 Keep your heart with all diligence; for out of it are the issues of life.
Wisdom brings health.
Proverbs 12:18 There is that speaketh like the piercings of a sword: but the tongue of the wise is health.
Wise would be intelligence, knowledge of Truth.
Proverbs 13:12 Hope deferred (scattered) maketh the heart sick: but when the desire (delight) cometh, it is a tree of life.
Proverbs 13:17 A wicked messenger falleth into mischief: but a faithful ambassador is health.
That would be an ambassador to Yahweh and His Ways.
Proverbs 16:24 Pleasant words are as an honeycomb, sweet to the soul, and health to the bones.
16:25 There is a way that seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death.
Pleasant words are Truth. Truth heals. Truth gives life.
Man's ways lead to death.

Sirach 17:24 But unto them that repent, He granted them return, and comforted those that failed in patience.

17:26 Turn again to the most High, and turn away from iniquity: for He will lead you out of darkness into the light of health, and hate you abomination vehemently.
Sirach 18:21 Humble thyself before thou be sick, and in the time of sins shew repentance.
Isaiah 1:4 Ah sinful nation, a people laden with iniquity, a seed of evildoers, children that are corrupters: they have forsaken Yahweh, they have provoked the Holy One of Israel unto anger, they are gone away backward.
1:5 Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.
All the leaders and the spirit of the people turned away from Yahweh.
This is also describing the body, as Paul described the body of Christ. We must be all members of the righteous body with a healthy head.
Isaiah 6:9 And he (Yahweh) said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.
6:10 For the heart of this people has become fat, and their ears heavy, and they have shut their eyes; that not they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.
What Yahweh is saying is that people are stiffnecked and stray, either deliberately or by ignorance. If they would only open their eyes and ears and heart, conform, then they will be healed. It doesn't get any clearer than this.
Psalm 119:70 Their heart is as fat as grease; but I delight in thy law.
Even David understood that delight in His law = favor and health.
Isaiah 33:22 For Yahweh is our judge, Yahweh is our lawgiver, Yahweh is our king; He will save us.
33:24 And the inhabitant shall not say, I am sick: the people that dwell therein shall be forgiven their iniquity.
If you avoid iniquity, you will not be sick.
Isaiah 53:5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with His stripes we are healed.
53:6 All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and Yahweh hath laid on Him the iniquity of us all.
We are healed when we honor Him and follow His example and Word.
Isaiah 57:16 For I will not contend for ever, neither will I be always wroth: for the spirit should fail before Me, and the souls which I have made.
57:17 For the iniquity of his covetousness was I wroth, and smote him (the children of Jacob): I hid Me, and was wroth, and he went on frowardly (backsliding) in the way of his heart.
They kept the idolatry in their hearts.
Jeremiah 6:13 For from the least of them even unto the greatest of them every one is given to covetousness; and from the prophet even unto the priest every one dealeth falsely.
57:18 I have seen his ways, and will heal him: I will lead him also, and restore comforts unto him and to his mourners.
57:19 I create the fruit of the lips; Peace, peace to him that is far off, and to him that is near, saith Yahweh; and I will heal him.
Hebrews 13:15 By Him (Christ) therefore let us offer the sacrifice of praise to God continually, that is, the fruit of our lips giving thanks to His name (Yahweh).
Acts 2:39 For the promise is unto you (Jacob), and to your children, and to all that are afar off (dispersed Israelites), even as many as Yahweh our God shall call.
57:20 But the wicked are like the troubled sea, when it cannot rest, whose waters cast up mire and dirt.
Job 15:20 All the life of the ungodly is spent in care, and the years granted to the oppressor are numbered.
57:21 There is no peace, saith my God, to the wicked.
Isaiah 58:5 Is it such a fast that I have chosen? a day for a man to afflict his soul? is it to bow down his head as a bulrush, and to spread sackcloth and ashes under him? wilt you call this a fast, and an acceptable day to Yahweh?
58:6 Is not this the fast that I have chosen? to loose the bands of wickedness, to undo the heavy burdens, and to let the oppressed go free, and that ye break every yoke?
58:7 Is it not to deal your bread to the hungry, and that you bring the poor that are cast out to your house? when you seest the naked, that you cover him; and that you hide not yourself from your own flesh?
58:8 Then shall your light break forth as the morning, and your health shall spring forth speedily: and your righteousness shall go before you; the glory of Yahweh shall be your rereward.
Take care of your brethren and you will be rewarded.
Matthew 22:39 And the second (great commandment) is like unto it (the first, Love Yahweh), Thou shalt love thy neighbour (kinsmen, brother) as thyself.
Jeremiah 3:22 Return, ye backsliding children, and I will heal your backslidings. Behold, we come unto You; for You art Yahweh our God.
Jeremiah 8:14 Why do we sit still? assemble yourselves, and let us enter into the defenced cities, and let us be silent there: for Yahweh our God hath put us to silence, and given us water of gall to drink, because we have sinned against Yahweh.
Talking about the good Judahites in verse 14.
8:15 We looked for peace, but no good came; and for a time of health, and behold trouble!
The trouble was the coming Babylonian invasion because the house of Judah strayed from the ways of Yahweh.
Jeremiah 17:13 O Yahweh, the hope of Israel, all that forsake You shall be ashamed, and they that depart from Me shall be written in the earth, because they have forsaken Yahweh, the fountain of living waters.
17:14 Heal me, O Yahweh, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for You art my praise.
Jeremiah 30:17 For I will restore health unto you, and I will heal you of your wounds, saith Yahweh; because they called you an Outcast, saying, This is Zion, whom no man seeketh after.
Zion is a metaphor for the children of Israel, namely of Judah.
Jeremiah 33:6 Behold, I will bring it health and cure, and I will cure them, and will reveal unto them the abundance of peace and truth.
33:7 And I will cause the captivity of Judah and the captivity of Israel to return, and will build them, as at the first.
33:8 And I will cleanse them from all their iniquity, whereby they have sinned against Me; and I will pardon all their iniquities, whereby they have sinned, and whereby they have transgressed against Me.
After their punishment in Babylonian captivity, the house of Judah returned to Jerusalem and once again followed Yahweh's Way. But only for a short time as the cycle of obey, stray, punishment happen over and over. When will we learn?
Ezekiel 18:5 But if a man be just, and do that which is lawful and right,
18:6 And hath not eaten upon the mountains, neither hath lifted up his eyes to the idols of the house of Israel, neither hath defiled his neighbour's wife, neither hath come near to a menstruous woman,
18:7 And hath not oppressed any, but hath restored to the debtor his pledge, hath spoiled none by violence, hath given his bread to the hungry, and hath covered the naked with a garment;
18:8 He that hath not given forth upon usury, neither hath taken any increase, that hath withdrawn his hand from iniquity, hath executed true judgment between man and man,
18:9 Hath walked in My statutes, and hath kept My judgments, to deal truly; he is just, he shall surely live, saith Yahweh GOD.
Ezekiel 34:1 And the word of Yahweh came unto me, saying,
34:2 Son of man, prophesy against the shepherds of Israel, prophesy, and say unto them, Thus saith the Yahweh unto the shepherds (the false preachers); Woe be to the shepherds of Israel that do feed themselves! should not the shepherds feed the flocks?
34:3 Ye eat the fat, and ye clothe you with the wool, ye kill them that are fed: but ye feed not the flock.
False preachers that teach “church doctrine” instead of scripture are leading people away from truth, while they benefit by profit and position of authority. When people believe and practice false doctrine, they are not believing and practicing true doctrine, and this is not following His Way.
The false shepherds have scattered the sheep into dangerous territory.
34:4 The diseased have ye not strengthened, neither have ye healed that which was sick, neither have ye bound up that which was broken, neither have ye brought again that which was driven away, neither have ye sought that which was lost; but with force and with cruelty have ye ruled them.
34:5 And they were scattered, because there is no shepherd (true shepherd): and they became meat to all the beasts of the field, when they were scattered.
34:6 My sheep wandered through all the mountains, and upon every high hill: yea, my flock was scattered upon all the face of the earth, and none did search or seek after them.
As a result, they lost and forgot their heritage, their God, their duty as children of God, and became pagans and worshiped other gods.
34:7 Therefore, ye shepherds, hear the word of Yahweh;
34:8 As I live, saith Yahweh GOD, surely because My flock became a prey, and My flock became meat to every beast of the field, because there was no (true) shepherd, neither did My (false) shepherds search for My flock, but the (false) shepherds fed themselves, and fed not My flock;
34:9 Therefore, O ye (false) shepherds, hear the word of Yahweh;
34:10 Thus saith Yahweh GOD; Behold, I am against the (false) shepherds; and I will require My flock at their hand, and cause them to cease from feeding the flock; neither shall the (false) shepherds feed themselves any more; for I will deliver My flock from their mouth, that they may not be meat for them.
The false shepherds (preachers) will be held accountable for each person he led astray. This is serious business because Hosea 4:6 My people are destroyed for lack of knowledge: because you hast rejected knowledge, I will also reject you, that you shalt be no priest to Me: seeing you hast forgotten the law of your God, I will also forget your children.
Yahweh gave us a mind and a heart with His law written upon it so that we will seek Him diligently and not believe everything some preacher teaches. They may just be led astray or deceived themselves and are just repeating lies.
We must listen to the voice of truth.
34:11 For thus saith Yahweh GOD; Behold, I, even I, will both search My sheep, and seek them out.
34:12 As a shepherd seeketh out his flock in the day that he is among his sheep that are scattered; so will I seek out My sheep, and will deliver them out of all places where they have been scattered in the cloudy and dark day.
34:13 And I will bring them out from the people, and gather them from the countries, and will bring them to their own land, and feed them upon the mountains of Israel by the rivers, and in all the inhabited places of the country.
34:14 I will feed them in a good pasture, and upon the high mountains of Israel shall their fold be: there shall they lie in a good fold, and in a fat pasture shall they feed upon the mountains of Israel.
34:15 I will feed My flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith Yahweh GOD.
34:16 I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment.
When we hear His voice and answer with sincerity and obedience, we will be healed.
Ezekiel 34:15 I will feed My flock, and I will cause them to lie down, saith Yahweh GOD.
34:16 I will seek that which was lost, and bring again that which was driven away, and will bind up that which was broken, and will strengthen that which was sick: but I will destroy the fat and the strong; I will feed them with judgment.
Hosea 6:1 Come, and let us return unto Yahweh: for He hath torn, and He will heal us; He hath smitten, and He will bind us up.
Return to His Ways and He will heal us.
Hosea 7:1 When I would have healed Israel, then the iniquity of Ephraim was discovered, and the wickedness of Samaria: for they commit falsehood; and the thief cometh in, and the troop of robbers spoileth without (outside).
7:2 And they (Ephraim) consider not in their hearts that I remember all their wickedness: now their own doings have beset them about; they are before My face.
The thief within – the aliens which we have let run roughshod throughout our nations, and the robbers without – those alien lands which now possess our technology and our debt-notes which the Jews have contrived for them in order to induce them against us. Today it is a little more sophisticated than it was in ancient times, but the problems are the same: we learn the ways of the heathen nations who do not have our moral ethics or the spirit that Yahweh breathed into our father Adam, and we fall into a state of decay.
7:3 They make the king glad with their wickedness, and the princes with their lies.
When we repeat the propaganda that our masters fabricate for us, we please our masters. The Jews are happy with race-mixing, politically correct, obedient “gentile” cattle. The Jews are happy when they hear the made-up holocaust lies being repeated by the “goyim”. The Jews are happy when we follow along with the false idea that some evil Arab terrorists were responsible for 9/11. The Jews are happy when we pronounce that “Jesus was a Jew”. The Jews have organized the IRS code in order to reward “churches” that teach the politically expedient falsehoods. These “churches” get tax benefits, and teach lies in exchange for retaining those benefits. Later on, they will indeed have to face the wrath of God! Ask your “church” if they are 501-C3.
7:4 They are all adulterers, as an oven heated by the baker, who ceaseth from raising after he hath kneaded the dough, until it be leavened.
Our sin is a national sin. We are indeed all adulterers, whether we like it or not. We have all bought the lies at one time or another, and so have our ancestors. We have all traded with the enemies of our God, and so have our ancestors. We all have something from China or Japan, which helped to put our brethren out of jobs.
All these things are not the path we should be on, and we suffer for it.
Micah 6:12 For the rich men thereof are full of violence, and the inhabitants thereof have spoken lies, and their tongue is deceitful in their mouth.
6:13 Therefore also will I make you sick in smiting you, in making you desolate because of your sins.
The religious system of sacrifices as well as the legal system of Levites and judges were being corrupted and used for oppression rather than for justice.
The oppression of their own poor tribesmen by the wealthy is one of the chief transgressions of ancient Israel.
By seeking riches in international trade, the same riches described in Revelation 18, the nation was described as being in harlotry or whoredom.
Matthew 4:23 And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness and all manner of disease among the people.
Goes hand in hand, spiritually and physically.
Christ said He came as an example, He didn’t just give these people words, He taught them to put the words into practice and through this taught them good health.
A sound body and sound mind go together.
Your body is a Temple, where Yahweh dwells. A sacred place, meant to be kept pure and clean.
This is why He made the food laws, which are still in effect.
What kind of person are you if your Temple is not fit? Yahweh does not dwell in a polluted temple.
Matthew 8:13 And Jesus said unto the centurion, Go thy way; and as you hast believed, so be it done unto you. And his servant was healed in the selfsame hour.
The centurion believed that Christ could heal his servant. Through healing, the people witnessed the healing power of walking in the path of righteousness.
Matthew 8:16 When the even was come, they brought unto Him many that were possessed with devils: and He cast out the spirits with His word, and healed all that were sick:
8:17 That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying, Himself took our infirmities, and bare our sicknesses.
Matthew 9:2 And, behold, they brought to Him a man sick of the palsy, lying on a bed: and Jesus seeing their faith said unto the sick of the palsy; Son, be of good cheer; your sins be forgiven you.
9:6 But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins, (then saith He to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up your bed, and go unto your house.
Faith means allegiance. Allegiance as in loyalty and a follower. A doer, practicing what Christ taught. Allegiance with Christ keeps you healthy.
Matthew 9:12 But when Jesus heard that, He said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick.
Mark 2:17 When Jesus heard it, He saith unto them, They that are whole have no need of the physician, but they that are sick: I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.
Those that live righteously are not sick. Whole means to have strength.
Sinners are not whole.
Mark 6:2 And when the sabbath day was come, He began to teach in the synagogue: and many hearing Him were astonished, saying, From whence hath this man these things? and what wisdom is this which is given unto Him, that even such mighty works are wrought by His hands?
6:3 Is not this the carpenter, the son of Mary, the brother of James, and Joses, and of Juda, and Simon? and are not His sisters here with us? And they were offended at Him.
6:4 But Jesus said unto them, A prophet is not without honour, but in his own country, and among his own kin, and in his own house.
6:5 And He could there do no mighty work, save that He laid His hands upon a few sick folk, and healed them.
6:6 And He marvelled because of their unbelief. And He went round about the villages, teaching.
Christ did not come to just heal everybody. He came to teach the truth, the way, and the life. Even in His own country many did not believe in Him, but the few that learned the truth and followed the path of righteousness were healed.
Luke 4:18 The Spirit of Yahweh is upon Me, because He hath anointed Me to preach the gospel to the poor; He hath sent Me to heal the brokenhearted, to preach deliverance to the captives, and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty them that are bruised,
The people have gone far from the truth and lost their way, brokenhearted with a weak spirit, captive to wickedness, blind to truth, and bruised.
Luke 6:17 And He came down with them, and stood in the plain, and the company of His disciples, and a great multitude of people out of all Judaea and Jerusalem, and from the sea coast of Tyre and Sidon, which came to hear Him, and to be healed of their diseases;
6:18 And they that were vexed with unclean spirits: and they were healed.
6:19 And the whole multitude sought to touch Him: for there went virtue out of Him, and healed them all.
The people that remembered their heritage and the words of the OT prophets came to hear Christ. Many came just to be fed and entertained and received these benefits, but the miracles and works were for the benefit of true Israel, His sheep.
Luke 8:1 And it came to pass afterward, that He went throughout every city and village, preaching and shewing the glad tidings of the kingdom of God: and the twelve were with Him,
8:2 And certain women, which had been healed of evil spirits and infirmities, Mary called Magdalene, out of whom went seven devils,
8:3 And Joanna the wife of Chuza Herod's steward, and Susanna, and many others, which ministered unto Him of their substance.
These people didn't just believe in Him, they also followed Him and practiced what He preached. As a result, they were healed of evil spirits. Evil spirits abide in unrighteous people.
Luke 9:2 And He sent them to preach the kingdom of God, and to heal the sick.
With knowledge comes understanding. With understanding comes health.
Luke 9:11 And the people, when they knew it, followed Him: and He received them, and spake unto them of the kingdom of God, and healed them that had need of healing.
Those that learned about the kingdom of God were healed. The kingdom of God not only includes brotherly love, but obedience and living righteously.
Luke 17:15 And one of them, when he saw that he was healed, turned back, and with a loud voice glorified God,
17:16 And fell down on his face at His feet, giving Him thanks: and he was a Samaritan.
17:17 And Jesus answering said, Were there not ten cleansed? but where are the nine?
17:18 There are not found that returned to give glory to God, save this stranger.
17:19 And He said unto him, Arise, go thy way: thy faith (assent) hath made thee whole.
According to Liddell & Scott, Herodotus and others used the Greek word for 'stranger' here to describe a tribal subdivision within a nation.
While Christ states explicitly that He came only for the children of Israel, who came from Abraham through Jacob, other members of the anglo-saxon race are descendants of Adam to Abraham. Israelites are the chosen nations of the race of Adam chosen to lead.
Assent is a component of faith. It means the act of the mind in admitting, or agreeing to, the truth of a proposition.
John 12:35 Then Jesus said unto them, Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth.
12:36 While ye have light, believe in the light, that ye may be the children of light. These things spake Jesus, and departed, and did hide himself from them.
12:37 But though He had done so many miracles before them, yet they believed not on Him:
12:38 That the saying of Isaiah the prophet might be fulfilled, which he spake, Yahweh, who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of Yahweh been revealed?
12:39 Therefore they could not believe, because that Isaiah said again,
12:40 He hath blinded their eyes, and hardened their heart; that they should not see with their eyes, nor understand with their heart, and be converted, and I should heal them.
Isaiah 6:9 And He said, Go, and tell this people, Hear ye indeed, but understand not; and see ye indeed, but perceive not.
10 Make the heart of this people fat, and make their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and convert, and be healed.
The Israelite Judaeans (Judahites) were the ones that came back from Babylonian captivity to re-establish the law and bring in the Messiah. Yet the Edomites slithered in and distorted the law and The Way, and as a result, the children of light became numb, and many did not hear the Shepherd's voice.
Acts 8:5 Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.
8:6 And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.
8:7 For unclean spirits, crying with loud voice, came out of many that were possessed with them: and many taken with palsies, and that were lame, were healed.
Philip didn't just tell people to believe in Christ. He preached what Christ represents. When they heard and understood, and made the decision to follow, they were healed.
Acts 14:6 They were ware of it, and fled unto Lystra and Derbe, cities of Lycaonia, and unto the region that lieth round about:
14:7 And there they preached the gospel.
The it in verse 6 refers to the Jews that wanted to stop Paul from teaching truth.
14:8 And there sat a certain man at Lystra, impotent in his feet, being a cripple from his mother's womb, who never had walked:
14:9 The same heard Paul speak: who stedfastly beholding him, and perceiving that he had faith (moral conviction) to be healed,
14:10 Said with a loud voice, Stand upright on your feet. And he leaped and walked.
Acts 28:27 For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.
We Israelites are a stiffnecked people. Try bringing these truths and apostasies to the attention of today's “churches”. They don't want to hear it. They are comfortable in their own 'pew'. They have learned so much false doctrine they don't know who they are or anything about The Way. “Just Believe” is their motto.
Hebrews 12:9 Furthermore we have had fathers of our flesh which corrected us, and we gave them reverence: shall we not much rather be in subjection unto the Father of spirits, and live?
12:10 For they verily for a few days chastened us after their own pleasure; but He for our profit (benefit), that we might be partakers of His holiness.
12:11 Now no chastening for the present seemeth to be joyous, but grievous: nevertheless afterward it yieldeth the peaceable fruit of righteousness unto them which are exercised thereby.
12:12 Wherefore lift up the hands which hang down, and the feeble knees;
12:13 And make straight paths for your feet, lest that which is lame be turned out of the way; but let it rather be healed.
12:14 Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Prince:
12:15 Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace (favor) of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled;
Bitterness in Hebrew means, a beginning of a rebellion.
If we can't obey our fathers and the prophets, how can we expect to obey Yahweh?
When we rebel against Yahweh, and walk not in His ways, He chastises us. Sickness is one form of punishment.
James 5:14 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the assembly; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of Prince Yahshua:
5:15 And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and Prince Yahshua shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him.
5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
With righteousness comes healing.
1Peter 2:24 Who His own self bare our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.
2:25 For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls.
Live righteously and be healed.
3John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that you mayest prosper and be in health, even as your soul prospereth.
31:3 For I rejoiced greatly, when the brethren came and testified of the truth that is in you, even as you walkest in the truth.
Walk in truth and prosper.
It should be evident that when we seek knowledge and understanding, truth and righteousness, walk in His example and obey His Word, we will be strong and healthy.
When we face calamity or deteriorating health, it is time to examine the path we are on.
Psalm 125:3 For the rod of the wicked (unrighteous) shall not rest upon the lot (H1486-portion) of the righteous; lest the righteous put forth their hands unto iniquity (unrighteousness).
The Miracles of Yahshua
The gospel writers have recorded 36 miracles in detail as well as making reference to many miraculous events during His constant activity in healing the sick and infirm as He moved about Palestine preaching and teaching.
The word 'miracle' in Greek literally means 'a sign' or 'token'.
Christ's miracles demonstrated His Power over disease, death and the forces and laws of nature. He gave the reason for them when answering John the Baptist's inquiry as to whether He was truly the One Whose coming he had foretold. Christ indicated that His miracles were the 'sign' or 'token', demonstration and guarantee, of the truth of His claim to be the Son of God.
The greatest miracle of all – the supreme confirmation of Christ's claims and the guarantee of His truth – was in His resurrection from the dead. No founder of any other religion has ever had the power to return to life after death, but those who had seen Yahshua crucified, later saw Him alive in the very same vicinity: they walked and talked with Him; they ate with Him, touched Him and finally say Him ascend into the sky before their eyes. (The indispensable qualification of an apostle, that he should have been an eye witness of the Resurrection)
The fact of the Resurrection galvanized His disciples, and turned them into such powerful and persuasive preachers that despite opposition and persecution, the gathered together, before they died, large companies of those who believed Christ to be the Son of God and Saviour of His Kinsmen.
