A brief summary about me to satisfy your query, because this site is not about me, it's about YOU!
I am Italian-German-Irish-Scottish-Scandinavian-Greek, an Adamic Israelite, of the tribes of Jacob Israel.
My parents were raised Catholic. They moved on to the Church of Christ, and also attended several Baptist Churches. It was not until 1987 that their eyes started opening.
My eyes were not opened until I turned 38, in 2012.
I remember going to church, being baptized, and the great stories in Sunday School. However, I never felt right or comfortable in church, I felt something was “off” about the bible and the whole religious atmosphere. So I was not serious about it. I did believe in God and always had Him in my thoughts, but I just didn't get it yet.
Keep in mind, my parents were experiencing the “religious plunger” at the time. They were unlearning “church doctrine” and just starting to understand the scriptures. So I was always somewhat aware because they would try to get my sister and I to study with them. We just didn't want to learn. As a family we always prayed and included God in our lives and decisions. But what my parents were just then learning was that the “churches” and denominations were teaching Judaism (Judeo-Christianity), which is NOT what scripture teaches.
When I graduated High School, I went to Miami Beach and San Diego for 7 years. My beliefs went all over the place, but I always knew that there was a God. I just didn't know which one yet. I didn't know who I was or Whose I was yet, and I sure didn't know who He was yet. I've asked Him to show me many times. He eventually did.
Over a few days period, several events were the catalyst for my awakening. I found myself in a heated discussion with a great fellow I worked with (a Judeo-Christian) about Jesus and His racial descent. For some reason, I was intrigued, because I plainly did not know. Most everything we know about the Bible is from what we have been told. For the first time I was really interested, my Spirit was moving. I did some research that night, and I was led to the audio archives of Bertrand L. Comparet. He was a pastor in the 70's. From there I became a living sponge.
The next day I was thinking about a small investment I had then recently made, and was asking God to help make it fruitful, and I just had the thought and feeling that I needed to show that I was worthy of receiving this blessing. It really moved me, so I decided to put some time into studying and searching the scriptures, to get to know Him more. This has become the best investment I ever made.
Next comes the quickening.
The next day, my atheist friend since childhood, sent me a website to check out. He always argued with me about God, politics, conspiracies, etc. So I checked out this site.
Bear in mind, I am one day into my awakening, I still don't know ANYTHING yet, except that I do believe in God and am just learning who Jesus really is.
As I am reading what is on this atheist site, their beliefs, their arguments, their interpretations of verses, etc., my Spirit felt like it was on fire. My heart burned and my blood boiled when I read the abominations presented on that particular website. I was quickly realizing that the atheists and the “churches” were dead wrong. My mission and purpose was now clear.
I became a serious student of The Word, listening to sermons, reading articles and books, including the Bible and its many translations, and conversing with great teachers. I also graduated the American Institute of Theology with honors.
This website is the result of the Divine quickening of my Spirit to seek the truth.
If you are reading this, it is because you are of the called. For many are called, but few are chosen.
This site is to, for, and about YOU, my kinsmen.
Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of God: but to others in parables; that seeing they are not able to see, and hearing they are not able to understand.
Not everyone will see and hear the Word of God. In fact, most will not. Only His remnant are the chosen. Only those who seek Him with study, practice, and obedience can serve Him. Those who merely “just believe” and sit in their own “pew” will be like those foolish virgins that found themselves left out.
The information on this site will likely be opposite of what you have been taught. That is because it is. So how about investing some of your time and read some of the study papers presented to make an educated and informed decision. You will know if what you have been taught in “church” is scriptural or not, if you take the time to examine what scripture says versus what your preacher says.
