Hanukkah is a dedication to Yahweh in memorial of the miracle of the oil burning lamps of the temple.

During the Maccabean era, after the temple was retaken from Antiochus Epiphanes, there was only enough oil in the lamps to burn for one day. Yahweh made them burn for eight days while they made more oil.

Hanukkah is a Judahite dedication.

Hanukkah is NOT a Jewish holiday.
